Sam was initially high when I priced out tractor against Lowe in Tyler. So we went with Lowe. As I did on new skid steer last year! After waiting a week and half on delivery we found out it was still in a crate!
Lots of excuses from Lowe Tractor!
I reached back out to my old college buddy at Athens and he was able to get pricing where we needed it and possibly deliver within couple days! They have definitely earned our business!

Great people, usually have what I need, & have a good many products to choose from. They also have service department.

Came in on a Saturday around 11 A. M. Maybe had 1 customer in building. Went inside and looked around at mowers then went outside and looked at them. The whole time we were there nobody even acknowledged we were there. Got in our vehicle drove down the road to John Deere, went inside that showroom and was greeted and taken care of. Sold us a zero turn and Even waited on us to come back and pick it up! Never be so busy that you can't acknowledge a customer!

There are many dealerships where you could buy any of the equipment that Athens Tractor has. I would suggest that you go about anywhere else.this is a backwoods bumpkin run operation that treats customers poorly. I tried to rent a machine from them and I was treated poorly and the gal on the phone was very unhelpful and got snippy with me. I was later told they wouldn't have that particular machine available for rent even tho I could see the rentals out front. I also tried to buy a piece of equipment a couple years back and the salesman was rude. I won't be doing any business there again

Really nice people plan on doing business with these people and these people only treat me like I want to be treated
