Athira Unnikrishnan, M.D. reviews
9Dr. Unni is awesome. She is compassionate, upbeat, friendly, gets to the point and she knows her stuff. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Unnikrishnan is a superb oncologist and cares deeply for her patient's health. She takes time to hear and attend to my concerns and takes time to celebrate my accomplishments. I feel so blessed to have this exceptional woman leading my healthcare team!
Dr Unnikrishnan is an intelligent caring MD. I went to several oncologists when I was first diagnosed, and she was by far the only one who listened to my concerns and made a care plan that would work for me.
Dr. Unnikrishnan is THE BEST doctor I have ever seen! She is kind and compassionate. When I was crying my eyes out she hugged me and reassured me that everything would be okay! I cannot thank her enough for being so amazing!
Dr. Unnikrishnan does good work with a human element of empathy and understanding that's missing from many medical professionals. Thank you.
Dr. Unnikrishnan is young, enthusiastic, immensely knowledgeable, attentive, encouraging, compassionate, and with respect to cancer treatment, willing to think “outside the box. ” She is a jewel!
My wife and I absolutely love Dr. Unnikrishnan. She is first and foremost an outstanding doctor. Also, she and her entire staff are caring and compassionate and very organized and efficient. Her medical knowledge is second to none, and she has made us feel like we are part of the Texas Oncology family.
I'm 72 and see a lot of Doctors, but her visits seem like "fun". No matter what my condition I know she will laugh and explain how things are not nearly as bad as I thought.
I like Dr. Unnikrishnan and have full confidence in her knowledge and experience. She is pleasant, easy to talk to, and knows how to listen. However, every single time I've been to see her, I've ended up waiting anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes past my appointment time. I find this practice disrespectful of my time and highly unprofessional. By the time I get to see her, she's already late for her next appointment and I feel rushed in and out of her room with a cursory check.
