ATM Baptist Credit Union reviews
5Marty is awesome and works at downtown location most of the time. She is most nicest person and always remembers my name when she speaks to me. I look forward to speaking to her Witherspoon in person or on the phone. Terry works at the lH 10 location she is awesome too. She goes beyond to assist me every single time I reach out to her. The ladies in loan department are all very professional and also help me with important life changing events in my life. Vanessa, Mel and both Cindy's stop at nothing to help me succeed.
Alright, where do I begin with this amazing Baptist Credit Union.
All these negative reviews are complaining over small stuff they started themselves. I have dealt with every single one of these "refs" and more. To those calling them, the employees, "refs", they are called "tellers". A ref is someone from TV when they play sports. A bank "ref" is when the manager tells their customers what is up in their account. Which explains why the negative reviews make zero sense.
Second, I have been a member at this Credit Union for a while now and I have seen zero complications. The entire staff refuse to call you a "customer" but instead call you a MEMBER of the Credit Union because they treat you like family. I was never lied to, I was never yelled at, everyone there seems to be positive. All managers are fun to talk to, everyone there makes sure if you are okay. Every time I go there, the president of the Credit Union always seems to happy in the most stressful of days!
Even under the pandemic I have seen them take strict and reasonable life saving procedures to make sure the tellers, drive thru, front desk, managers, and their members are safe. They have never scolded me, but I have seen the same people who complain here give these wonderful tellers and managers a hard time only to reverse the story in their reviews everywhere I look. If I could, I would give this Credit Union a 10/5.
I recommend to many, if not everyone, to go to this Credit Union, but remember this: Everyone yells at their banks and credit unions before getting visceral and out of control. Please remember these Credit Unions and banks keep your money. Even under this pandemic, every Credit Union and bank suffered to maintain their staff under safe conditions. Do not hate on this Credit Union because you did not want to take their advise when given. I am grateful and thankful to this Credit Union for allowing me to feel like home there whenever I do my things there because I follow their advise. Even when I am in college and doing other things, I trust this Credit Union.
These tellers, managers, and staff tried their very to make sure my money was safe under this pandemic, under the Winter Storm back in FEB 2021, and under the whole economic crises going on in 2020. If they made sure MY money was safe, you bet they made sure your money was safe.
Everyone that I have encountered have been nice, happy and very helpful to me. I have been with Baptist Credit Union for over 12 years. They have helped me get my credit back to good and have been very helpful when ever I need assistance with my checking or savings account. They have given me a chance to clean up my credit and have offered me a small loan. Thank you for being here for us in San Antonio, Texas
Rudest person ever Marty. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Every time I was trying to ask a question, she'd cut me off and not let me finish. I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager in which she put me on hold for almost 20mins. I highly recommend speaking to someone else or not even using this place at all. Had to give 1 star to write a review, but honestly they don't even deserve the silly star.
I recently went back after years thinking they have changed, but nope. Same bad service and being treated horribly. I got yelled at by 1 of the customer service representatives, Marty.they only have 2 people IN THE WHOLE BRANCH that answer the phone and try and “act” like “Customer Service” reps. So if you ever need “ACTUAL” help, good luck! Both are COMPLETELY incompetent and should really look Into a better profession.
The second incident I got Bold face lied to by Chris, the other so called rep. Just to find out I was getting my account closed not by choice, but by their upper management for NO REASON! I was given NO CALLS OR EXPLANATION what so ever! Had to find that information out by using their website, not an application, but their ACTUAL website because, i take it they are too incompetent to use modern technology to better service their customers.when I called, the “sorry excuse” of a customer service representative stated they do not call members, but it will all be all explain in a letter, and send my monies with that letter as well. They call me for any other reason! Even if I’m a dollar over drafted, but I couldn’t get a courtesy call to let me know my account was being closed!? !
I explained I have direct deposit, but was told that I need to consi m der another bank and they do not call members. INCOMPETENCY AND POOR POOR POOR SERVICE! Save yourself the trouble and hassle and get with a REAL credit union, you will get NOWHERE with this lousy place.
