Atria Hotel and RV McGregor

Had to check-in because of trouble in VRBO rental.
Room was clean and adequate for overnight stay.

A quick review before I forget: docking a star because I took the time/risk to register on *their* site for the mobile only pricing and was charged walk in with no remedies offered, another because the receptionist originally had the dishonesty to lie and say "oh you'll be charged what the site said this is for the booking company", and finally one more because the room I was given wasn't clean (they said someone was still staying in it which is worse but I saw no gear).

Having said that the second room is clean, there is WiFi albeit flakey, and it's the only hotel in town.

P. S. If you ever want a system that works perfectly - for both you and your customers - I'm available and competent.

Not given my military discount on room after 20 years of service in the Marine Corps, then assigned a room that was already occupied. Endangered me and startled the occupants in that room. The bad thing is, I asked the receptionist prior to getting the key to make sure no one is already in that room.

No call back, text or email after voicing my complaint. The rooms were nice and clean.

I'm just dissatisfied with the service.

The staff is very rude! They tried to overcharge me for my service dog because THEY wanted me to switch rooms and I had to fight for a refund. On top of that the last few times I stayed at this property I've had a housekeeper wake me up at 9 am and leave my door open listening to my conversation. Then the last time I was woken up AGAIN to ask me at 9 am when am I going to check out because they need to clean the room due to reservations. Obviously I paid for the room to be able to stay until check out which was 11 am. And because I told them not to do that again the front desk lady got mad and it went left field. I haven't even touched base of the drunks outside all night harassing people and arguing. People walk around all night. Just a horrible property and a horrible staff.

I have no issues with this hotel. It is located in McGregor, TX which is a small, rural community, located about 20 minutes SW of Waco. I used the Buy Now, Pay Later service called Zip (formerly QuadPay) to book this room and had no issues. They also didn't have a problem with another party checking into this room prior to my arrival, provided they knew ahead of time.
They offer clean rooms, clean bedding, have good water pressure and provide a quiet, no-frills experience. A small sundry and vending machine is located in the lobby. There are signs indicating when breakfast hours are, but I'm unsure what type of breakfast they offer.
I didn't rate the service or location because I never interacted with the hotel staff and I didn't travel out of the area to have an opinion on how the location fared.

Run like hell. No options for 0 stars. Felt unsafe the whole time. Nasty dirty and full of crackheads drying clothes on their car in The parking lot. Ac was hanging on by a prayer. Shady people walking the parking lot at night looking at cars. Had to make several trips up front to get things like toilet paper and towels, you know the stuff that should be in the room to start with. Breakfast was frozen solid mini muffins. Manager yelled at us for putting a bag of trash outside the door of the room, after the staff told us to do so. I will never stay here again. And I was there to visit family.

Room was clean with no bugs and the room style has a nice country feel. This young man name KT he was working night shift I had checked in while he was in the middle of Cleaning and cleans good! He Had the lobby smelling fresh and was playing jazz music on his tablet.

Went to a wedding in the area and this was the perfect location. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit the area.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. We did not stay in a room, but wouldn't hesitate to the next time we're in town (the lobby was bright, clean and welcoming). We have an electric vehicle, and were in desperate need of a charger. We have an adapter that works with most RV hookups, so we stopped in. Even though it's not a service they usually offer, the staff and manager worked with us, and allowed us to rent an RV spot. I really wished I had booked our hotel stay here, and will next time after such a great experience. I hope they see the opportunity they have to accommodate other EV drivers wether they need a room for the night, just a quick charge, or both.

Hotel showing its age. No elevator! Breakfast is bread or muffins. Bring your own foods or go elsewhere for breakfast.

Clean location and great for convenience on my way to visit my brother. Clean rooms and soft beds as well.

I made a reservation online hours before I checked in and still took 15 minutes to check in. Booked a room for 2 days but didn't expect roaches in the room

Clean but very spartan. Tiny bathroom. Thin towels. Surprisingly, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were *not* like sandpaper. The breakfast was barely adequate. Unless you need to stay in McGregor, I would find something a little nicer in Waco. And if you do stay there, have breakfast down the street at the Coffee Shop Cafe.

My room was absolutely disgusting, the hotel itself REAKED of cigarettes. The floors in our room were STICKY, there were cockroaches in our room, hair all over the bathroom, so much residue on the shower that when I rubbed the wall my finger literally turned brown. My family who stayed in a separate room literally had broken glass all over the floor, real safe for children staying in that room. I’ve also slept in some pretty uncomfortable beds but this bed was TERRIBLE, felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The only good thing about the place is it was about 10 mins from where I was attending a wedding. SMH never staying again!

We stayed for a while the front desk staff was great loved them all, but the rooms never got cleaned had to clean ourselves and roaches were in the rooms. I had to request to have my room cleaned more than once and the management was very rude! Wont stay there again.

I had great service from Ms. Liz in front. I had a problem and right away it was solved. Ms. Liz made sure we have everything we need. She keeps everything clean and treats everyone equally. I recommend everyone to stay while here.

I have really enjoyed my stay here and Liz is such a friendly and takes care of everything I needed with an smile on her face
