AT&T Store reviews
31My wife and i went today to the at&t store at sugarland Ray attended us we had the bedt experience the best customer service and explained everything well to us. We need more managers like this
I had the best experience at this location! Harrison Coulter helped us out and his customer service was phenomenal.
I have the pleasure of working with Cecil, she was very courteous of my time. She worked quickly and was very kind. I was running late for a flight and she did her best to help me, despite a time crunch.
Ray and Johnnie were amazing help and really help speed up my experience.definitely will be coming back to this location!
Chelsea helped me and my dad sort out our acc issues and was able to help us with our trade in for our new phones. She was super sweet, helpful, informative, and detailed. If you guys can, ask for her with your phone/service problems!
Great salesman in Mohamed, he is knowledgeable and confident. He took his time to do everything right. I recommend him he is at the Sugar Land main location.
Nice store, the manager let you know how many people you will have before you before putting you in line so you decide if you want to wait or not.
The staff at this store was amazing. I took my mother in to get a new phone and Chelsea was so patient and knowledgeable. My mother is a senior so she was nervous about buying new technology but Chelsea took the time to make sure my mother felt comfortable with the product by the time we left and she answered all the questions my mother had, she even helped her install her new Fitbit that she was having difficulties with. Chelsea didn’t rush through the process which made me feel like I didn’t mind spending my money there, so I wanted to change service from another company. I told Chelsea that I would be back later that day to transfer my service and upgrade another phone. When I got back to the store I checked in with the manager who also very nice she introduced herself in my first visit earlier that day and welcomed me back on the last visit. I was there with my husband and children we waited a few minutes because Chelsea had another customer, so she came over and asked if I mind working with Donna because she could be a while with the customer she had. Chelsea assured me that Donna was knowledgeable as well. So I explain to Donna that I wanted to switch my services from another company and upgrade a third phone. Donna was just as patient with me and my family she didn’t rush us or make us feel like we were bothering her. While I was working with Donna the manger checked in on us again. Anytime I get good customer service I don’t mind spending my money, so I just want to say hats off to that team because it’s hard to find good customer service these days.
Harrison was very helpful and patient. He was able to solve all issues and follow up to ensure all devices and plans were correct before I left.
Thank you!
Harrison did a great job helping me out with my trade in. A+ experience at AT&T store, Sugar Land.
Walked in to buy only a SIM card.the service rep told me it would be at least 30 mins before I could get one because he didn’t have enough staff? Rude and horrible customer service.
Been here a couple of times. Both times I was greeted properly and put on a list. The wait can be long but only because the reps are handling the customers as best they could. After the wait, I was treated with rapt attention and full care.
I didn't have to wait long both times (5-10 mins) because I was 2nd or 3rd on the list.
Crappy store. They put you on the wait list and you think you have a next in line number and then they demote your rank right in front of your eyes. And then they can’t remember your name when there are only 6 people in the store.
This location and it’s employees are a JOKE. How dare they be so disrespectful. They're not just bad at their jobs, they are bad people. I would have punched these juiceheads in the face if I knew there wouldn't be any legal action against me. I wish it were possible to give this location negative stars. No one here wants to help unless it is a sale. If there is a service request they will lie through their teeth and make it sound like it's their policy to not help with your situation. I waited in queue for 20 minutes after watching 4 associates standing around talking doing nothing. Then three of them went to the back. When I bought the iPhone I was told "yeah come back and we'll help you transfer everything to the new phone. " When I come back to actually transfer everything the associates run away because they hate their lives so badly they can't even bring themselves to do what they are paid to do. This is a sad excuse for a store. They create a HORRIBLE impression on behalf of AT&T and do nothing to depict a positive view of the brand.
Just want to share my story, this way people are aware, and this won’t happen to anyone else.
Keeping in mind I work 8-5 weeks, every day this week after coming home, I was told a guy keep knocking on door non-stop. After day 5 (today) he claim he works for AT&T, and he needs to speak to; and then he said a name I never heard in my life. At this point I said I had just moved here, so he kept asking me questions about this other person I had no idea about, Eventually he asked if I own the house, or was renting.it just did not seem right, and he refused to hand out original envelope (which apparently belong to whoever he was asking for), keep in mind he never even introduced himself (so I was not able to get a name). The whole situation just came out very uncomfortable. I told him I Do not have to share further information, and then he asked if he could come in the house, that’s when everything really got creepy. And he was asked to leave.
This is what happened to my wife. This is the story I had to hear after I came from work. (How would you feel as a husband?)
At first I was really concerned for my family’s safety.
The first thing that came to mind, was ask AT&T what was going on, so I called their 800 number. I spoke with, probably one of the best customer service representatives ever, Melissa Williams, right away, she understood my concerns, and my feeling of my family being harassed. She guided me on the best way to proceed. She suggested to first called my local AT&T store, ask for a manager, and verify my concerns, and make sure this were in fact real AT&T employees.
Here is when I first contacted this particular store on 2191 Texas Dr, I asked for a manager, and to my luck, Maurice (the manager had unswer the my call).
I felt released, and a feeling of satisfaction at the fact that he answer quickly, and I could right away tell him about this really concerning sutuation.
That’s when everything went South.
Maurice did I not really seem concerned, or cared at all. All he said to wash his hands, and to hang up a.s. A.p. Was:
“AT&T employees do not wear red at all, my suggestion is to call police, and report it”
“Plus, we do not send salesmen to knock on people houses”.
Of curse, at this point, I started to get worried, and started debating about calling the police, or not. All I could think about was “the guy that comes every day to knock, and when finally answered, gets really creepy, while a woman at home alone, and even asked to let him in the house at the end of the conversation”
I decided to call AT&T back, and shared my experience with the store. The only response I was told:
Here is the complaint P. O. BOX:
P. O. BOX 10330 Fort Wayne, INDIANA 46851
she said, just write a letter, and send it to that P. O. BOX.
Wow.
My first comment to her was:
So then you suggest I should file a police report, since a letter on average (as we all know, takes 3-5 business days to arrive, that’s without counting the days that pass while they get to it, and read it), could get the to late. She said, I understand, but that is how AT&T handle this situations. I said to her again, “so, I should definitely call the police, and file a report in case something was to happen, before AT&T got to the letter” she replied that’s all we can do, I said ok then I will do that, and file a report meanwhile just to be safe. Then she said “thank you for choosing AT&T etc.anything else I can do for you? ” To which I replied “you can not really help me any further right? , and she said “yes, you’re right, have a good rest of the day”, and that as it.
Very disappointing.
I get a phone call from my wife at this point, saying she just saw this guy outside. To my luck, I ran to my car, and started to look for him (my family is my main priority, and their safety, I had to find out who this person was before it was to late). I start driving around my neighborhood, no luck.finally I spot the man wearing red, it had to be him, I said to my self, and after talking a deep breath, and with a lot of courage. (to be continued)
Worst experience. Avoid these people. They scammed me by adding a line to my account which was shipped to someone else. When I told them then they told me that this is my phone and they cannot do anything. They almost kicked me out of store to go and call customer service. Now I am calling fraud department and wasting my time. I will never go back there. Use online service if possible and avoid these highly unprofessional people working at that store.
STAY AWAY FROM AT&T! And this store in particular!
This is by far the most terrible store and experience ever. You walk into a store with a bunch of individuals with their jeans halfway their behind, who hardly speak understandable English and have no interest of providing any service what so ever. And I read a lot of similar reviews, so evidently the store manager supports this behavior because when you ask for him they tell you that he will have time for you in 45 minutes.
Poorest service ever! Staff talking to each other’s and totally forget us, wait about 1 and half hours!
Poor service. Watched as line was skipped, and excuses were made. Didn't want to help, or offer solutions. Waited 40 mins, before being skipped, until I asked why, and was told two different people would be with me shortly.
I had a very good experience going there, opening a family plan and adding lines layer. They waived the deposit for me. Ask for Kevin. He is a really nice guy that helps you as much as he can.
I returned a year after I opened my family plan and Russell helped me a lot.
