Don’t ever get a lone through the bank contracted with the school! You will never see it or have it returned! My interest rate is through the roof, from the school ignoring my emails and questions about when the rest of my money will be returned to the lender! The school closed down in New Braunfuls and left most students left with no choice to not continue the training, this is what happened in my case with no warning!

Today I went on an introductory flight with Braydon. He went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed the flight while providing a safe and thorough explanation of what he was doing during checks. He included me in the checks to really give you the full experience of flying. He taught me so much in the short amount of time we had. It did take a few reschedules due to weather and such but today was a beautiful day to fly, so no complaints! I haven’t decided if I will pursue a PPL yet. If I do, I would certainly pick Braydon to teach me.

My husband gave me a gift certificate for an introductory flight lesson. Absolutely the best gift I have ever received! AAofA is amazing! Virgil, the owner, is a treasure trove of aviation knowledge and a super nice man to boot! My instructor was Brayden, an incredibly kind and considerate young man who really went above and beyond to teach me about the plane we would be flying while at the same time pausing to answer my questions (however weird they were) drawing on his wealth of knowledge. Our flight time was more than ample yet seemed to 'fly by'. At no time did I feel uncomfortable or scared as Brayden always made sure of my comfort level before asking me to take the controls. He always told me what he was going to do, why he was doing it, and when he was going to do it, so I was never left wondering what was going on. He even asked if I was a thrill seeker or not (of course I am) before taking me on a Zero G dive! It was absolutely fabulous! I can not recommend AAofA highly enough for anyone seeking a great gift for a loved one, a test drive in the sky to decide if getting your pilot's license is for you, or perfect school for you to take your training through. Austin Academy of Aviation is professional, courteous, caring, friendly, and infinitely knowledgeable. Don't hesitate, go fly the skies today! You won't regret a single second.
