7Have to wait for deposits. Other banks are depositing on the correct date. Austin Bank on Federal holidays and weekends make account holders wait til the bank is open the following business day.if it's the 1st on a weekend or a mandated holiday the money gets posted the following business day. Other banks deposit before or on the 1st of each month whether it's on a weekend or a holiday. I've called and spoke to the Austin Bank employee that processes the deposits and she said it will always be the next business day. Making account holders wait til that next Monday or next open business day to have their money deposited into their accounts.obsurd. A great way to lose banking customers
This bank is bad news for people living paycheck to paycheck. They use transaction resequencing when you are overdrawn so that the largest bills come out first and the smallest last. If you pay your daily expenses with a debit card those will be the ones hit first. Instead of one overdraft for a car payment you may have many for your daily purchases. There are other banks reducing or eliminating NSF fees. Find one that has compassion and consideration for the less fortunate.
Had them for years and on Friday, AFTER closing call me and freeze my account and over a dollar charge and wont allow me access to my money over the weekend till monday. They have instacard which allows you to gst a new card by the hour. But notify me after closing forcing me to wait till monday. I have no money to last the weekend or shop for food and gas. Shiann was great to work with. I looked up reviews before I came in and glad I did. Opened my first business account and will enjoy coming into this branch when I do. Y’all are personal with your customers and that means a lot these days.
Great bank. They was the only bank to give me a loan so I could build my house. When I have any problems they will help.
