Weird pricing conversation to begin with. Then I wanted a contact lens exam and ended up paying for both glasses and a contacts exam. I won’t be returning.

The service was quick and thorough. I was done with my appointment in 15 minutes. Only caveat would be that a retinal scan is required (in place of dilation), which is uncovered by some insurance policies.

Love the atmosphere there. Karry has a blast of great energy when I went to through the door, and Kitty was amazing. She explained everything and was detailed when I asked my questions.

Very professional and helpful. Everyone was super nice and did their best to help me where they could. Would definitely recommend for any eye and vision needs!

Appointments have been prompt and thorough over the past 3 years I have visited. Very reliable in being seen within a week’s time. Staff is friendly and helpful in finding out exact insurance accepted.

I've gone here since 2000s. Doctor was nice, but front office service continues to decline. Will likely find a new place for next exam.

Still make the drive from south Austin to get my eyes checked here! Love the staff and providers!

It was very easy to make an appointment online and there were a good number of options for morning, afternoon, and even evening so that flexibility is awesome. The front desk folks were nice throughout check in and out and Dr. Patel was great. I've been going here for the past 5 years and will continue!

Maybe pick up the phone or return calls? I've never been able to get a hold of anyone 9/10 times I've called.

The front desk staff and techs are all very nice. The doctor took her time with me and explained things.

Service was very fast and everyone was super polite! Dr. Patel was very fast (but good) during my appt and Ciara was very polite and helpful before I saw the doctor, great service!

Everyone I dealt with at my appointment was friendly, helpful, and thorough. Only bumped a star because of the side conversation between the other two on staff having very loud non-professional conversations both during my check-in and check-out.

I would highly advise against trusting this location with your eye care. To say the customer care is abysmal would be an understatement. After countless emails, phone calls, and trips to their office, I still do not have a signed prescription AFTER 8 MONTHS. I have spoken with the manager (who is extremely unprofessional) and other staff many times (even the primary doctor) and each time I am assured I will receive the prescription via email that day, I do not. Each time I have called, emailed, or even sat in the waiting room, I have been polite and patient as they attempt to resolve the issue from the start, again. A Rx not signed is truly inexcusable if the visit is paid for. Not sure if they refuse to provide, because I am purchasing contacts elsewhere (they do not take my insurance), or they just cannot manage patients. I also found the doctor I saw was an independent contractor, and they are unable to communicate with her?

I have been forced to re-use trial daily contacts for months at a time, as I do not have a Rx from my visit. Daily I am reminded of my unsigned prescription because my eyes are irritated, due to having to re-use trials over and over again.

Very poor service, very unprofessional. Do not trust this business with your eye health, nor your money.

Update: After A YEAR of continuous follow up, they're now ignoring calls and telling me I'm due for a new exam and can't provide my Rx.

Unprofessional, didn’t want to take their time to verify insurance information so I had to pay cash.

The fastest and most efficient eye exam I've ever had. Staff is always friendly and smiling. Highly recommend.

Have been a patient at Austin Eye Professionals for many years and have appreciated the professionalism and care by the doctors who have seen me. I don't plan on leaving any time soon!

Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Patel explains everything very well and patiently. I definitely felt like my health mattered:)
