This was my first visit to this location and I truly love this location. Also, the staff and security are so friendly, helpful, and very polite.

Your website is garbage. You make it impossible to pay this dumb parking ticket. Get your stuff together.

Thank you so so much Austin municipal court! I had the best experience resolving a speeding ticket. I can’t speak for the reviews below, but every part of resolving this case was done respectfully and quickly.

I had gotten a speeding ticket on my way to volunteering and was worried about the cost of the ticket due to being unemployed. To top it off, I missed my court date by two days and was freaking out that extra fines or a warrant would be put out.

Showed up in person by the 3rd day and was treated with nothing but respect, kindness, and assistance by the security checkpoint, front desk, security guards, the prosecutor of court one (06/23/22), Judge Thomas, and all his fellow workers! Started with the front desk worker asked if I wanted to reschedule my hearing or if I wanted to resolve it as a walk in case. I chose to walk in.

Judge Thomas explained how I would meet with the prosecutor, all my rights, and so many helpful tips about remembering that the prosecutor is not my lawyer but I can ask questions or share info as I see fit. Judge Thomas was extremely kind and fair, and took into account my years of community service hours and my current unemployment, converting the expensive court fee to very manageable service hours!

The prosecutor of court 1 was also so kind and respectful. (I wish I could remember his name but he had a reddish beard and nice suit.) He never made me feel pressured and provided very helpful, honest answers to questions I asked about what kind of evidence could be presented, how the jury would work, costs, volunteering, rescheduling, etc.

Both the prosecutor and judge explained I could postpone a trial if I wanted (to get an attorney or think things over) and do so even a second time as life happens-so long as I contact the courts. This or I could do a plea deal or no contest. It was nice that they explained all my options clearly with no pressure to pick one over the other.

Overall, i think if you come in respectfully, they will treat you kindly and respectfully as well. They welcome questions and do their best to give you all the info and time to feel prepared in any decisions made. They are fair and take into account your circumstances as much as appropriate.

This review is based off of services and not staff. It’s 2022 and AMC called to let me know they issued a warrant for a 2010 traffic ticket. I paid this ticket with all other tickets when I left the state in 2012. A total of $2800 was paid to the courts at that time including rent money in cash I had at the time that was confiscated by a police office when I was forced to appear in court. Now over 10 years later they found, well you owe us a little more. Lol and that I would need to appear if I was to fight the decision. So my options were a 400 flight to fight a 150 ticket or just eat the cost. I obviously ate the cost and paid. My recommendation is to keep accurate records instead of writing things on post it notes then extorting someone 10 years later. So glad I moved out of that city and state. This amazing attention to detail explains why your state can’t function in things as simple as a freeze. Good luck clowns!

Let me help you find the entrance

Please follow the signs all the way around to the entrance of the building, googles gps is still dropping people off at the old entrance behind the building. However, the area is now gated off and being used as an employee parking lot. So go around the black gate to the other side (you'll see signs directing you to the proper entrance) and park up front. Parking is free. Upon entering, MASKS ARE REQUIRED PER JUDGES ORDERS. Weapons or anything that can be used as a weapon are prohibited, this includes fingernail clippers, pepper spray, and safety pins. I hope this helped you out

There’s no parking sign all over in my neighborhood, and our household has multiple cars, so we had to park on street, and they just keep giving people tickets for no parking violations, and If I cannot even drive to court since dmv kept messing up my dl license appointment, and I cannot drive my car.is that how Americans gov make money

The staff was friendly, and I did not have to wait long to speak to a clerk about a traffic ticket. I would give 5 stars, but honestly, 7th st.is nasty. You cannot cross the street without being harassed by vagrants. One guy was hanging around my car and tried to approach me, luckily he ran off when I yelled at him.
