Austin Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center

Asked if I had an appointment. I said no. I told them I just wanted to drop off a tire. He told me where to go. I drove up and they took it out of my trunk. Fast easy and convenient!

Schedule a visit to pickup mulch, drop off electronic, paint, appliances you'd like to recycle and even pick-up free recycled flat interior paint in 3 different colors! People are always nice and helpful. Highly recommend using this wonderful and free service!

Everybody was very friendly and their process is efficient and easy to understand. I made an appointment and dropped off ten years' worth of old pesticides, pool chemicals, and paint from my garage and it took maybe three minutes start to finish. This is a great local service.

Employees are so helpful and curteous. Always drop off my batteries, styrofoam and plastic bags. Free for austin residents. Great to get rid of old paint or paint water used for cleaning brushes. Schedule an appointment and help prevent chemicals and recycles from going into landfill and water systems.

Easy appointment online, check in is simple and they are helpful on where to go and other questions. Dropping off is quick and painless for all the extra recycling needs

It feels good to get rid of things in a responsible manner. Staff is always friendly and they take a wide variety of items and even have things you can pick up. I hope they all walk ins again some day but for now, you have to reserve a time online.

This trash center makes me wish I could work here. Everyone is SO friendly, helpful, happy. I didn’t want to leave! Which is very odd for a trash center hahah can’t wait to come back

Super quick & easy to drop off household toxic waste! It was easy to schedule the appointment online, and they let me come in even though I ended up being there a little early. They took paint, lightbulbs, a laptop battery, and were kind to accept some light switches even though it was probably the wrong section. Very friendly staff! Easy to work with.

Get rid of all the stuff that won't go in recycling that you shouldn't really throw out in the regular trash.

You do need to make an appointment ahead of time, but there is always plenty of slots

Absolutely horrible paint. Picked up about 15 gallons and all of it is full of sand and debris. Clogged up paint sprayers in seconds and basically ruined two days of painting. Ran the paint through a strainer and had a pile of dirt and debris. Do not use this paint with a sprayer.

Had the ability to drop off paints that I am done with. Picked up items from the shed: carpet cleaning solution, Armor all tire shine and powder to put down tiles!

Great for recycling everything including the stuff you can't put in your can. Plastic bags, metal, electronics, batteries and household hazardous materials.

Friendly folks and a very well organized recycling center. Large signage and color-painted lines guide you to where you need to go.

Lots of space.easy in and out.no fire breaks in material to be ground up.the loader operator where u drop bags.no communication skills.doesn't acknowledge anyone, not aware of his surroundings.

Awesome, not busy & helpful staff. I didn't know that an appointment was needed but I was accommodated by friendly staff.
