I've taken plenty of heels here to get new soles for work and they're always fantastic. This was my first time getting the straps on a handbag replaced though after the puppy stage destroyed them. The purse looks brand new and fantastic. I wish I had taken it in sooner.

I could've spent one amount on my Red Wings by sending them to Red Wing, or I could've spent 75% by committing my money locally-at Austin Shoe Hospital. That's what I did, and the work was supreme.

Had the high heel cap replaced on two pair of shoes. Quality of the work looks great, and the owner was even able to get them back to me a day early so I could wear the shoes to an event!

My dog ate my favorite boots (no this is not a country song, this is real life) and after searching endlessly for a replacement to no avail, I decided to give Austin Shoe Hospital a try. This place is ok for a basic shine, but don’t trust them to do anything more complex if you care about your shoes. I sent an expensive pair to them to be refinished. They sent it out somewhere and then returned them to me ruined. Later they told me they were sorry, but couldn’t do anything to fix them and just blamed the poor work on the place they sent the shoes too. Very disappointing.

Great place. They rehabilitated a pair of black leather dress shoes that looked as if I'd been hiking through snow and ice in them. Perfect service, wonder vibe, excellent results.

Trust this place, they do amazing work. I brought my oxfords in because the stitching on the toe had come undone. Austin Shoe Hospital did an AMAZING job repairing them and stitching them back together. There was even a few tears that I didn't point out that were taken care of and addressed properly. I even paid for the shine, and it looks astounding. My shoes look brand new. I'll be going here again for all my cobbler needs

LOVED what they did for my shoes, didn't like how long it took. They had one done in about 2 weeks and then the other one wasn't done for another 2 or 3 weeks. Took too long, but I think if you're more proactive and hounding them, JAMES is a fantastic guy. He really came through for me to make sure I got my shoes. Thanks a ton James!

I work downtown, and while I still miss the Congress Ave.location that was within walking distance, the 34th and Lamar location is convenient and has the same great service and quality of work I enjoyed downtown. James was friendly and on the ball. My shoes were repaired promptly, and I appreciated the email notification when they were ready. Highly recommend!

Went in for first time to have some Cole Haan’s I bought at goodwill (yes goodwill) repaired. Got for $10 so I thought, what would be the harm in finding out if they could be refurbished. Got good advice from sales person and for a quarter of the price of new, I got, what I think are, a great pair of shoes. Discount on another pair I took in on pickup is also a nice touch.
