Austin Sports Medicine and Orthopedics

I usually have no problem getting through on the phone to make an appointment. A few times, during mid-day, I get a message that no one is available to take my call & I have had to call back later but that has never been an issue for me. The receptionist staff both on the phone & in office are always courteous, friendly and helpful. I never wait more than 10 minutes into my appointment time to get called back. The NP or PA immediately gets me started with the x-ray tech if an x-ray is needed. The x-ray techs are always friendly & efficient. I don't have to wait long in exam room for the doctor to come in & review the x-ray with me, give me a diagnosis & discuss treatment plans. All doctors I have seen at ASM (Elenz, Fernandez, Pham) are very friendly & communicative, letting me ask lots of questions & making sure I understand what they are explaining to me. The treatments given have been effective and that is the best thing of all = helping me get back to an active life!

Elizabeth is an amazing Physical Therapist! I had her pre and post surgery and would highly recommend her to friends and family. She is kind, explains everything thoroughly and provides good feedback on progress. Thanks to her and Dr. Breazeale my shoulder is well on its way to full functionality.

If you have knee issues, definitely go see Dr. Elenz. He'll fix you up in no time. And as a bonus, the nurses and supporting staff are all friendly and efficient too.

Great experience with this practice, beginning with a friendly and efficient front desk staff. I had surgery for a broken wrist with Dr. Gillman and it couldn't have gone smoother. Surgery done in their surgery center, which removes all the hassle and stresses of a hospital. Dr. Gillman is very personable and makes sure all questions are answered.

Dr. Elenz is an amazing and compassionate doctor! He has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered from an Orthopedic surgeon! My surgery was a breeze and I am so thankful to him and his staff for such a great experience. 10/10

Misinformation when giving the price per consultation. Will never come back to this place.

It's rare to have such a great experience with a doctor's office. The office staff was friendly and very efficient. Scheduling was a breeze.and quick. After arrival, only had to wait about ten minutes before they took me back (actually a few minutes BEFORE my scheduled time). Initial exam was done right away and then Dr. Breazeale arrived within a few minutes. He certainly seemed knowledgeable and friendly. He ordered some knee x-rays (again, no waiting), then we met a second time to discuss the x-rays and next steps. We scheduled an MRI and a meeting with another specialist in his office (this time for my back). Both were scheduled within the week. I was out the door 45 minutes after arriving without feeling rushed.

Appointment made with efficiency and got in to see Dr. Elenz in a matter of days! He was clear and made my situation understandable, went through treatment alternatives and the risks and benefits and I understood much better than the first 2 orthos with whom I consulted, He also did a previous knee surgery years ago and it still works! Highl recommend!

Dr Fernández was awesome. I have been told the nerve tests are not fun. He made sure I knew what to expect and he made sure I was comfortable. Since he was doing this test for my foot Doctor next steps will come from her. But Dr Fernández made sure I understood what his findings were which was very comforting to know. Thank you getting me in so quickly you went above and beyond to show me your cared.
