Austin Tri-Cyclist reviews
8Have been here for bike service several times. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that do great work. Have always had great experiences.
Definitely not the kind of place a novice should shop as the staff and owner are pretty pretentious. You have to be one of their kind to not be low key ridiculed.
I took my time with finding a bike and the staff was amazing in helping work out all my questions as a first time TT bike purchase. I wouldn't get my bike serviced or purchase one anywhere else in Austin after doing some shopping around and landing at Tri-Cyclist. They're professional and the store manager knows what he is doing. 10/10 would recommend again.
A quirky but fantastic bike shop. I appreciate a private local business as the team has been around for a long time and actual cares about the customer and fixing the problem. You walk in and people remember you and know your bike.like service from years past. The shop knows bikes and triathlon gear so you don't deal with newbies/bad advice. Highly recommend.
Great bicycle shop I’ve been coming here for years just haven’t written a review but after my last visit I thought I’d should. I have the Cervélo S5 and I recently purchased a Garmin from ATC so I ordered a mount for it online. The screws that came with my mount did not work for my bike but I contacted ATC and they were able to fine my screws for me. But I wasn’t able to make it to the shop before that close so they left them in a special place so I could come by after hours and pick it up. This type of service is what you’ll get by coming here.
These guys have been hooking me up with everything swim, run and bike for decades! They know and live this stuff, have all the great gear and are always super-helpful. The bike repair/maintenance shop is on point and they're also a local business: shop here.
Took my bike in to get it repaired and they offered to buy it or give me a store credit. I said I was interested. I then had to go out of the state for work for the flooding in CA. When I got back to get my bike I was told it was sold! I never agreed to it being sold I just said I would consider it. When I called they acted like they are ready paid me. I had to push back because 1) I never gave them permission to sell my bike and 2) I never received any money. They said there was nothing I could do at this point because the bike was gone. They said they would pay me the $250 we talked about before. When my son got there to pick on the money they would only give him $200 even thought we talk about $250 in the past and when I called. I feel like I got scammed. They sold my bike without my permission and then did not even pay me what we talked about. This place it very shady and I would not recommend anyone to take there bike there unless they don't care if the ever see it again!
