The first experience with a tune-up was fairly decent.

When setting up an appointment for a steering complication a couple months later, the first meeting went well. After two weeks waiting for a call about the part being ordered and to set up the appointment, the person I spoke to assured me that it was ordered and on the way and that the warranty company had been contacted and was ok’d to pay for the work. Two weeks after, I called again from not hearing anything, this time speaking to the manager directly, I was told that there was no record of any parts ordered or talks with the warranty company. He was unsure if one of his guys had actually ordered or not, then I was told that the part that needed to be fixed was different than what was initially diagnosed by the same shop. When I was told that it is normally a “dealer fix, ” I opted to no longer give my time to this shop and instead took it to the dealer in the next week and it was fixed within 3 days for the initial diagnosis that was given to me by Austin Automotive Specialists.

They changed out the fan motor for the inside air conditioner and heater fan the price of that fan motor and the installation was over $400 I have no idea what brand the fan motor was I thought that was very expensive even though there’s a two-year warranty I’ll probably look for someone else to take in need of repair

Quick turnaround. Good communication. Charged a fair price. Can't really expect more. I will be going back to them in the future if needed.

Very friendly and professional. Took care of what I needed without trying to upsale me on anything. I definitely recommend this shop for all your car repairs.

I had my vehicle aligned there today. The alignment seems good so far. Took quite a bit longer than expected but that's fine. My issue is that they do a complimentary 12 point inspection. Their inspection of my car revealed that the engine and cabin air filter needed immediate attention. I just replaced both two months ago so I asked what they saw that warranted attention. I was informed that they don't actually inspect the filters they just go off whatever service history is in their system. That's pretty ridiculous and not helpful whatsoever. What's the point of an inspection of you don't inspect anything. I would be suspicious of any recommended service at this shop.

The quote was actually higher than the final bill! That was awesome and they did more work than I expected. I very highly recommend this place in Leander. Extremely professional and very competitively priced!

I called Jerome about replacing my front wheel bearings. He was polite, professional and upfront about everything about the service. Pricing was explained and reasonable for the work.

The Austin Automotive team took care of the brakes on my daughter’s car, along with taking care of the oil change. They gave me a comprehensive list of work that needed to be done, allowed me to discuss it with my husband and then we could make a decision on what needed to be done now without pressure to complete everything. I appreciate their respect and friendliness along with taking care of the work in a timely fashion.

I had an 11am appointment & was told it would be a 45min turnaround. I arrived 15min early. I sat for an over an hour before my truck was even on the rack.
The manger I heard cussing at the young tech for wasting over an hour on the previous vehicle. He went out again and cussed at him more while a different tech worked on my truck. It was well past 130 when my truck was done. The job was done correctly but it was no where near what I was told over the phone. And there’s no need or reason to foul mouth an employee more than once.

This is the place to get your car worked on! My first experience was in the Cedar Park location. Dropped off my car to have the turbo check since it was pumping out a code. Gentleman there inspected it and let me know that it would be a little out of my price range at the time to fix it. He didn’t charge me for the inspection and told me it was ok to drive on for a while and to bring it back in when I had the funds.

My other car had the AC bust. I left it with them and they were able to diagnose the issue within the hour. I wasn’t able to pick it up for a week, but they fixed it and held on to the car for me. The fix worked for a day but broke down again due to an old o-ring through no fault of their own. They took it in next day and found the issue, fixed it again for no extra cost!

Honest hardworking mechanics can sometimes seem like an oxymoron, but these guys are legit! Earned my business for any future car work I need!

Excellent service. Jerome (shop Manager) was very professional and patient. They diagnosed an oil leak, and found the source of it. Im going to schedule to fix it.

As a woman I always am nervous taking my car to the shop but let me just say that it was SO great working with them! They took my car and I had it back within 2 days. They called my warranty people and kept me updated the whole time. They did not try to scam me into buying extra things. They were so professional, kind, and friendly!

While visiting my Grandkids, the A/C needed a minor repair. Jerome got me and the service was completed before lunch. They also took care of another issue as well. I loved the text/link to show me (pictures) what was needed. Good job men.

I don't usually post comments about a place I have done busy with, but I was very impressed with my visit to Austin Automotive yesterday. I had
hit a rock in the middle of the
road and it had hit so it hard
that it knocked my phone out
of it's holder, so I went to have the under part of the car
checked, at first I was asked
if could leave it, but I had funeral
to go to later so couldn't do
that, but I could come in the
morning, Then Jerome, the
manger, asked if I had some time now, because it would have
been late that afternoon before
it could be looked at, some how
he had someone look at it, stop what they were doing and checked my car. I say all this to say he cared about my situation.
But the amazing part is not
only did they check the under part, but took pictures with an
arrow showing where the rock had hit, several
pictures, and did a complete
fluid check and found 2 nails
in one of my tires. To me they
will be the Automobile repair
shop, for me, on a one time.visit.
