It's hard to find the intersection of reliable mechanic and affordable prices. You're usually sacrificing one over the other. Enter Paul and his team at AAS. Prior to discovering them, I sacrificed affordable prices to ensure quality work and reliable service. There's just too much precious cargo in my vehicles to do otherwise. When you enter the shop located just off Palm valley in Hutto, if your can find a park in their densely occupied lot, you are immediately greeted at the service desk by Paul out one of the other associates. Honest, up front, and NO price gouging!
We went in for a water pump, radiator hoses and coolant flush. He noticed that our serpentine belt was bad and thermostat rusted ('07 300c). He notified us of the issue, the cost of the repair and had us back on the road in a day! I fadt turn around. So far the car is running great and we have no complaints

Paul and joe are great to work with. Had my explorer to another shop where they replaced the same part 2 times and was about to the third. I decided to go to these guys in hutto to-get another opinion. Glad I did wasn’t the part at all the connector that plugged into the part was almost broke in two. I’m less than 30 minutes they had it figured out and parts ordered. A few days later was fixed no problems since. Other than the 1000$+ they charged me at the other shop. Now I have taken my car and my daughters car there for repairs. Thank you guys!

This is a very busy shop. We have been loyal customers since 2016. Even on their busiest days, Paul finds a way to squeeze us in.

Paul and his guys worked very hard in diagnosing an engine issue on my truck. It took a while (due to parts! …) but it runs like new. They are always willing to help out to get you back on the road.

I've been using Austin Automotive Specialists for a while now and every time I've had to take my 2009 Hyundai Accent in to them, they've been able to find the issue and fix it. They're efficient, detailed and do great work for reasonable prices. I will continue to trust them with my car though I hope I don't have to see them again too soon.:)

I have been using this place for 10+ years. Paul is like absolutely awesome. He’s very detailed. He’s very honest he makes phone calls and let you know what the cost is. He let you know if somethings not worth fixing everything that they’ve ever done for me is on the money they’re not the cheapest they’re not the most expensive they’re right in the middle but they do an awesome job and I trust him with all my automotive needs as well as you should.

Had spark plugs & coils replaced and an oil leak repaired. They did an awesome job, got it done quickly, & communicated well. Priced comparably and all very professional.
