Austin's Finest Alignments & Brakes

Called in to try and schedule an appointment for an alignment for my 2022 Model S. Also have a few other cars and I like to go to the same shop for all. The guy said that they dont do Tesla's "because we dont want to mess with the software and stuff". I have owned a Tesla for years and have always gotten my tires and alignments done at a 3rd party because there is literally no difference. I tried to tell him that there is literally no difference, and no need to mess with "software" for a wheel alignment (Tesla service has normal laser racks, no different) and he just said "yeah, we just pass". Guy clearly has no idea what hes talking about, and would not take any of my cars to a shop running on that type of ignorance.

This message is for the shop owner - your people are turning away great business due to ignorance/incorrect information. Go call any other tire and wheel shop and ask them. Tesla's have the same wheel and tire setups as any other car. Same as my C8 corvette, and my lifted FJ cruiser, and every other car I have had. I have always gone to an independent shop for my work and will continue to do so. Just not with y'all.

These guys are so nice and accommodating! I brought my car to them because when I was getting my tires replaced, the tire/auto shop told me that all of my brakes needed to be replaced. I called around for estimates and Austin's Finest quoted me a better price AND warrantee than anywhere else. And when I got there, the first thing they said was "let's see if you ACTUALLY need all the brakes replaced" just to make sure that the other auto shop wasn't over-diagnosing the problem just to upcharge me. Repairs were quick and there were no hidden charges, highly recommend!

Honest and transparent guys at this place. Went in for a performance alignment to get a little more oomph out of my handling. They weren’t sure if they would have time to see me, but they overdelivered and finished hours earlier than I anticipated. Very pleased with my experience.
