Auto-Spec, Georgetown TX

I have been a customer for several years and have never before been treated so shabbily. It was not my fault that the car required an oil change near the holidays, it is what it was. I was given an appointment over 3 weeks from my call. I arrived early because I always arrive early. Knowing that I was waiting for my car, I would have thought they would at least start work on the scheduled time. They did not start till a half hour later. Now there is a problem and though they sent photos a couple of days later, there was no schedule to repair the problems; no estimate for the cost; no evaluation on the urgency of the repairs. When I got the first appointment I began thinking about changing my service provider. It should not take 3 weeks to get an oil change. The experience I had waiting for my car and the problems discovered, I'm even more inclined to reconsider the value you place on my continued loyalty to your service location.

They had my truck 4 days just to tell me they couldn't work on it because it was tuned. I called a mobile mechanic who diagnosed it and fixed it the same day. I will never take another vehicle there again.

We had both of our scooters and van inspected. The team at Auto-Spec did a fantastic job of taking care of our inspection. We can’t think of ever going somewhere else.

Very easy to schedule. Jose was very courteous and professional. They did a thorough examination of the car and presented the estimate in detail. The final bill matched the estimate. Jose went out of his way to be helpful in my repairs. The service is greatly appreciated!

They even offer a ride home and a pick up ride when your vehicle is done.

Always friendly greeting and great service. I’ve taken my 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid here for 3 years. Not even a major problem due to expert and thorough inspections and oil changes.

I have always been very skeptical of auto shops and not wanting to feel like I am being taken advantage of. At Auto-Spec they are different. They welcome questions about the work being done and are happy to educate you. I had a situation in which I brought my car in due to a leak. It was repaired and then two months later I noticed a similar leak so I tooK it back to Auto-Spec. Thinking, here we go again, my skepticism came back. But that was not the case. After review of the new leak it was found that it was not related to the previous work that was done and was due to an oil ring that was not replaced (at a different shop). I did have some frustration with the call tree they have in place and had voiced my frustration with the shop. Auto Spec took the time to understand my frustrations and placed an oil ring on the car at their cost. Which they did not have to. I have to say that Jose and John at Auto-Spec Georgetown have changed my outlook on auto shops. Thank you Jose and John I appreciate your professionalism.

I had an appointment at 4 o’clock. By 4: 45 my car had not moved. When I asked, they said my technician had gone to the doctor. They inspected the car and did not charge me.

Very good company, did a thorough inspection and very nice staff. Highly recommend making an appointment, they even have a shuttle service if you need it

Went to make appointment for vehicle inspection. Closest available opening was 28th of November, however he ask me to come back the next day and drop it off and he would try to squeeze me in. Not only did he deliver, but did not charge me since I am a veteran. What an awesome jester. Thanks for making my day.

I have been taking my car to Auto Spec for the years. They have treated me and my car with respect.
