AutoNation Collision Center Addison

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU WANT REPAIRS DONE RIGHT. After I had my car repaired 2 days later the check engine light came on for a bad sensor. I now just had the check engine light come on for a second time after 2 days of them supposedly fixing the repair. I am refusing to take my car back there and it has cost me financial strain and emotional distress with rental car fees that my insurance had to cover. I am preparing to take further legal action so this happens to no one again. Hopefully my review will save you money and your sanity.

Update: The sensor they supposedly fixed and charged my insurance almost 400 for is still faulty and now another sensor has gone bad. If the auto zone who gets none of my money is telling me to take my car to another shop because they fixed it wrong that should tell you something. All VW owners go elsewhere as I am now because they basically frauded a service and said it was corrected when it was indeed not.

If I would measure only what was done I would give 5 stars.
Communication was good, got updates and clear status about the car.

Everything that was done was perfect.fender replacement, headlight and bumper cover all looking great.

The problem I had was with what wasn't done.
Since day 1 I informed my Rim was affected by the accident. My car was drivable and I was able to feel (like unbalanced) wheel after the accident.

BMW informed me that tested my rim in a balancer and found nothing. I took my car after fix my fender etc. And the vibration was there.
I got my car to discount tire and discovered I had a bad bent and cracked rim.
I had to fix the issue, how can I drive a car with a cracked rim. I did and now the insurance don't want to pay me back.

All this could be avoided if BMW had done its work correctly.
I was able to easily see the bent in the machine as the crack.
They had 30 days to check my rim and nothing was done on it.

Horrible attitudes and not even a call back to get my car scheduled to bring it in. Weird. Took my car elsewhere where people actually want business.

Son did a great job. His communicate was excellent and he kept us informed of the status throughout. The work was excellent and timely. Would definitely recommend AutoNation Collision Center Addison.

Very satisfied with the hail damage repair on my BMW. My estimator and the manager made sure everything was perfect and appreciate them using OEM parts. Would recommend AutoNation Collision Addison to others.

They did a great job putting my Odyssey back together after it got rear ended. I recommend working with Justin.

Had my truck towed here after getting in an accident and the manager Dan did a wonderful job of making sure that I got everything I needed. My initial experience wasn't the greatest but he truly went above and beyond to make sure that, not only did I get my truck back, but also that the experience I had initially had was completely made up for. I appreciated everything he did.

Was a very easy and friendly process. I had to deal with insurance battles and they made it easy and helped. They worked on my car as soon as they could and had it on quick. Everything works and looks great.

I went to this shop to get a quick estimate before I filed a claim with Allstate. Now I'm in the process of getting a fender bender repaired for a 2019 Honda Accord at this collision center. Back in 2005 I had a 2005 Honda Accord repaired at this same shop and they did an excellent job. I'm sure they'll do the same with this car.

Sonny at AutoNation was excellent on my recent auto Repair. We had a minor accident with a BMW X6 which needed an interior door panel to complete the repair. The part was on worldwide back order and BMW would not give an ETA for the part. Sonny went out of his way to find the part and saved us 2 months waiting for BMW.

The repair AutoNation did was very well done and we took the X6 to a professional detailer to have it looked over and fully cleaned and the guys told us that the repair was first class.

Have always had a good experience with this place. The manager (Dan) has been helping me out with repairs going back several years and is not only super friendly, but trustworthy as well. While I first started taking my car here because it was listed as a certified Volkswagen parts repair place, I’ve come back again because of the friendly staff, ease of repairs, and great communication. My most recent repair was working with Justin who also was super friendly to work with and kept communication open the entire time our car was being serviced. While it isn’t the closest place to go for repairs based on where I live, I will continue to use them because I trust their people and their work. Highly recommend them!
