12This is the second time I come to this AutoZone, and for the second time, I have to restock my items back into the isles because the lady in the register can clearly see that I’m there to buy three items and she answers the phone starts taking orders which is taking her like 10 to 20 minutes knowing there’s like three people in line they have like five employees walking around no self check out so if somebody wants to buy something we have to go stand in line for an hour. That’s ridiculous.
The manager behaved very unprofessionally with my dad who was trying to return a battery. To begin with we bought a battery and they registered the wrong one which did not their system when my dad went to try to return it. This was pointed out by one of their employees who after two trip figured it out. He said could not exchange it that we would have to come back the next day to return it when the manager was there. (Female manager). So my dad went and to begin with she was not listening she was saying that he had the battery would not come up. That we had purchased another one which we did for a Honda civic. My dad had to point out on her screen that it was the one for the explorer. She got upset and told him that it still wasn’t the right one. My dad proceded to tell her what the other employee figured out that they had registered the wrong one and gave us a different one. Her response was “ I don’t know which employee you are talking about…I only know two! ” And then she said anyways this battery it’s no longer under warranty. I looked on their website and the even the cheapest battery has a two year warranty. She said this one had only one year warranty. Correct me if I’m wrong but that sucks. If it’s not under warranty I do not mind paying for another but they way this situation was handled was the worst customer service I ever had there. It is very upsetting to have some one of that position handle a customer like that. Next time I guess I will have to be extra and document purchases with pictures to be on the safe side.
Stopped by at the Autozone because it was convenient and as I was standing in line to check out, one guy there finished ringing up the customer, him and this other lady working there seen me and another person in line ;and they just went strait to gossiping ignoring the fact that they seen us standing there. The I supposed manager had to tell them to ring us up. I understand that conversating with a coworker is fine but clearly seeing people waiting in line then start gossiping is when there’s a personal issue.

Very dirty store, i was looking for someone to help me and 3 guys were on their phones not paying attention.bad experience overall
Very bad service in the commercial area whenever I call they leave me on hold for at least 10 minutes. I have my workshop and I always bought a lot of daily parts from them now almost nothing
This place is ok unless it's super busy.they do usually have everything I need Wether it be renting a
Tool or getting a part.keep up the good work auto zone

Excellent experience! I have been here about three times. The entire staff is genuinely friendly and they really go the extra mile for you. I got a real sense of family and even though it's in a tough neighborhood I recommend all of Houston come here for their automotive needs. Special shout out to Paul Hernandez for delivering "EXCEPTIONAL" customer service with a smile. He definitely deserves to be the General Manager of this location. Thanks to the entire staff for their AWESOME service!
