Autumn Sunrise Apartments, Corpus Christi TX

My recommendation-don’t live at Autumn Slumrise! We put in so many maintenance requests that we ended up having to fix a lot of the issues ourselves. This cost money out of our own pockets. The office people never answer the door or phone and are rarely ever there. When we moved out, we left it clean, we re-painted the inside of the apartment & outside door but they have decided to keep our $400 security deposit claiming we left $200 worth of trash to clean up-they claim to have pictures of the trash, which they refuse to provide after repeated requests for them. Return my security deposit! Whoever responded to my review asked me to contact old management which I did-they told me that all the paperwork they had about us as tenants had been destroyed so no pictures could be provided about the $400 we supposedly owed-very convenient!

Thanks to the maintenance Lupe for fixing any issues I’ve had while living here… he does a great job very professional and quick at resolving problems.

I’ve had a great experience living at these apartments thank you to Belinda and Felipe for always keeping us updated with anything going on. New management is definitely making lots of progress and improvements!

Lived here for 3 years, finally moving out due to new management. Very spacious place no cap! But my dishwasher is filled with mold. These people don’t know how to tend to their tenants. I also offered a new tenant to these apartments hoping they would honor their discount and they didn’t. I wouldn’t offer or tell anyone to live here. My neighbor who lived here for 8 years also left due to management. It’s sad.

We have the best manager and assistant manager and maintenance supervisor they're are always willing to help the residents

TLDR Avoid this place. The new management is disorganized, and great at doing the bare minimum.

I lived here for over 5 years. At first it was great, then the old owner became more involved, then it got bought out.

The former front office manager still works there, and is the only good thing left.

After moving out, they "made a mistake" and sent out security refund deposits, of which my first bounced.

A month later, they have sent me to collections (and only myself not anyone else on the lease) over damages, which should have been removed from the security deposit.

The new ownership is lazy, does the bare minimum, and NEVER picks up the phone or calls back. The damage fees were supposedly mailed to me, with a "trust me bro I wrote it on the folder" as the proof.

I was not contacted a single time about any amount owed, other than by a collection agency. The new managers response was "just pay it".

I would not be shocked if the same parent company owns the collections company. The new manager insists that "doing what is legally required" and the bare minimum are not the same. It would be cordial to pick up a phone, and call someone at least once if you are trying to collect, or send certified mail.

I am sure the new ownership will continue to ruin the property, and unless they fire the new manager and place someone with better people skills in place, I recommend avoiding this place like the plague.

Hello I highly recommend Autumn Sunrise apt. It super close to stores shopping restaurants and easy access to wash clothes and nice pool everyone is friendly. It was mh daughter first home away from home. I didn't have to worry about crime the gates worked. And the maintenance men came in a timely manner to fix things. I enjoyed going and staying with her. If you decide to move in I am sure it will be a place you will call home years down the road.

The place is beautiful, its everything I've ever wanted and more! Apartments are very homey and comfortable, everyone is very friendly, and there's a small shopping plaza within walking distance that's absolute perfection! It was honestly the easiest place I've ever gotten into. I definitely recommend if you're deciding to start a new life or have a fresh start!

If you are planning to ever rent at this place, stop all those thoughts and intention to avoid heartaches, headaches, disappointments, depression, despair, hopelessness, disgust, frustration.

Find another location and never ever consider Autumn Slumrise again to live happily ever after. The place has a chronic rat infestation problem and guess how these people address it?

They keep 8 colonies of feral cats on the property. Not Vaccinated or cared for in any way except to feed them occasionally.stray felines will spread diseases, parasites and can cause severe health issues to humans around them.

Not to mention that if you appreciate birds forget having them at autumn slumrise because the stray cats will have your birds for lunch, dinner and super.

Got a walk through the day i showed up, apartment was beautiful and ready to go!

Deposit fee and application fees arent bad at all and they have washing machines and dryers in building

They recently got new staff just about 2-3 weeks ago and seem fairly on top of things
Certain apts don't have carpet and its nice!

I've lived at Autumn Sunrise for a year now and I've only had a hard time getting maintenance to fix my dishwasher. Have put in several maintenance request forms and nothing was done till New Management took over. The new maintenance are not only professional and friendly they quickly replaced my dishwasher and fixed other things that were needing to be done. I'm very pleased with all the office staff always polite and professional.
