Avalon Academy, Houston TX

We've had such a good experience at Avalon Academy! I like that it's a smaller group of kids (about 100), and all of the teachers know and greet all of the kiddos. Many of the teachers have a long tenure at the school and are so sweet with the children! This daycare was competitively priced versus other places we looked at, and they also had fewer holidays where the daycare was closed, which was a big benefit for us, since we both work. We've seen our daughter learn and grow so much since joining Avalon, and she seems to really enjoy it!

I am not sure why people are not expressing accurate information on the condition of this daycare. Staff seems very nice and has long tenure at the care. That is the only positive of this place. This daycare is filthy, they allow staff to wear shoes in the room, although it’s off limits in rugs. There’s barely enough space for kids to roam around. It smells foul through the building. Something must be done about this! The photos posted are very misleading!

Both of my kids have been at Avalon since they were 10 weeks old. My daughter is now 4 and son 15 months. The majority of the teachers have been there a long time and they truely care for the kids. My kids love it there!
