Avant Dentistry, Plano TX

I was in desperate need of just a home dentist as I had recently moved to the DFW area. Was referred here by friends, and so glad I was! Every interaction has been amazing. They are so kind and caring - it's not fake and it's not superficial.
I truly trust this office with my dental health!

Very friendly and professional office staff. Dental hygienist are all gentle and thorough. State of the art equipment and both dentist are very knowledgeable and skilled with their procedures and treatment plans. Thankful my family has found this practice.

Pay attention to Nancy, she will "give" you 2 bottles of mouth rinse and make you feel they're free, but in fact they'll charge you $50 for that. YES $50 for mouthwash, that's the most expensive ones I've ever had in my entire life and you know what, you have to mix the 2 before using, so technically it's 1 bottle. Wait, is she called Nancy or Nastcy, I'm too dumb to remember people's name, no wonder I made the wrong decision. Almost forgot, Liang kept asking me to do Invisalign (at least 3 times), which is not my choice. I know they have some sort of cooperation with the company and if I do it in their clinic they will make some money from that company. Yeah I know, they literally try to squeeze every penny from you

Yes, five stars! All aspect’s of my dental visits with Dr. Karen Liang and her staff have been positive.

A friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere! Every interaction is always incredibly pleasant and the Doctors and employees are all very knowledgeable and caring.

I would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for a dental office

I had a wisdom tooth extraction and was told to take OTC Advil post-op. Nothing prescribed for severe pain and infection fighting. I called Avant back in tears as the numbing began to wear off and pain escalated, they prescribed Ibuprofen… this is HORRIBLE! The pharmacist was sympathetic and almost questionable as to why I was given this for the procedure I just had done as it isn’t quite normal.

Known fact: Black women’s pain is undermined in medical and dental; somehow everyone except for the patient knows our pain level. I will have a malpractice attorney look into this further.

Always great patient care with a gentle touch! Our entire family visits this practice with the amazing office staff and great care we have always received. Highly recommend for anyone looking for routine maintenance or needing repairs.

I love this dental team! I know a lot of people hate the dentist—but y’all should give them a shot. You will love them as much as I do. Such a friendly team! Great care and knowledgeable. They won’t sell you on unnecessary cleanings/procedures but have excellent at what I’ve had done. Currently undergoing Invisalign and it’s been a great experience. One of my favorite things about this office is it is primarily a woman run practice! A few notable staff—Lindsay is the dental tech I normally see and she’s great! A great personality and a wonderful person. Linda is my dental hygienist and she cleans them so well—delicate touch but very effective. Also a great personality. And Dr. Jackson is my dentist. And a fantastic reason to always come back. She and the rest of the team make a habit of getting to know their patients. She is a delight to get to see. The most amazing part of their practice, beside being wonderful and doing amazing work, is they are always on time! I have never had a late appointment. Oh, and if you need the distraction, there’s a tv on the wall and on the ceiling of every room. All around, an amazing experience every time!

I have been a patient at Avant Dentistry for a few years now and Dr. Liang and her staff have been great! Everyone is professional and personable and really listen to my concerns. They explain treatments well and are always willing to answer any questions. I look forward to many more years as a dental patient here.

I highly recommend Avant Dentistry! I have been seeing Dr. Liang for several years and every visit has been great. Every single member of her staff are absolutely amazing. As previous reviews have mentioned, the modernness of her office and capabilities cannot be overstated. If your looking for your last dentist, look no further.

Don't recommend this place. They just want me to do braces but don't even tell me I have wisdom teeth.

I have been a patient here for about two years but unfortunately I need to find a new dentist. Everything here is very professional, clean, and well run. But the dentist here has made me feel less like a human being and more like an irritating pebble in the shoe to be ejected as soon as possible. Twice now the wrong call was made on two of my problem teeth, resulting in weeks of extreme amounts of pain which elicited very little concern from the dentist (the endodontist was a different matter. I really appreciated her). I ended up having to go to an out of network emergency dentist for an excruciating root canal because this dentist brushed off the problem and told me to just keep waiting for the pain to go away, and I ran out of options. The other time I had to be referred to a specialist because the problem was beyond the scope of this office. I really do appreciate all the regular cavity fillings, deep cleanings, and other help I have received here. But after causing me such deeply traumatic, painful experiences, I cannot bring myself to return as a patient.

Dr. Liang and her staff are great. I always have a positive experience. I had a (long overdue) tooth removed today. Dr. Liang and her staff made me feel really comfortable through the process. This was my first tooth removal, so I was a bit nervous. Thanks!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Liang for many, many years. We’ve been through fillings, crowns, and multiple cleaning together. I can honestly say I have never had a negative experience. Dr. Liang is professional and very competent. I know she holds her staff to the utmost standards thus I am completely confident that I am leaving her office with healthy teeth and gums. We moved to Miami in 2018, and we still make arrangements to schedule our cleanings and procedures around our visits to Plano. Dr. Liang is more than a dentist. She is a brand, and I completely support her brand!

10/10 - Avant deserves all the stars. The all-female staff makes me feel so safe and comfortable. I used to get anxious before going to the dentist, but now I just feel relieved knowing i'm going to be serviced by the best.

Dr. Liang and her staff are the absolute best. They always take excellent care of me, and I always leave the office with a positive experience.

I have sent her my roommate and a couple of coworkers. They have all thanked me for sending them to a dentist that doesn’t give them nightmares!

Heading here in the morning for a deep clean! And Guess what? I am not a nervous wreck like I once was. Getting dental care can be extremely overwhelming and scary! BUT I assure you when you step foot in Avant, the anxiety slowly decreases.and it's a total breeze! They are so great and I highly recommend them! Don't let your fear of the dentist hinder your dental care, trust me! I did for YEARS.and it didn't end well. BUT knowing I have Avant on my side and knowing they just want the best for me in the long run has helped me through it all! Now, I am on a road to healthy teeth and gums! I still have a ways to go, BUT again.knowing they will be with me makes me feel so much better. I don't trust anyone else! What else can I say!? If you're still thinking.and going back and forth. Stop! You found who you are looking for! Off to bed, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow!)

Such a wonderful office! The technician was so kind, through and professional. I had to bring my 3 month old to my cleaning appointment and he was asleep during my appointment. Her accommodations of him was mind blowing! It felt like VVIP service.
