I'm getting my PPL and could not be happier. The flight school keeps the aircraft clean. The instructors are all great and really work hard to get you were you need to be. Michael and Zachary have been my instructors and I highly recommend them. The school also has everything you need to fly in stock.

Went here for flight training 2 years ago. Had a very positive experience. My CFI knew what he was doing and got me to my solo flight in no time. Very clean office and training rooms. Hoping to come back later this year and finish getting my private pilots license after having been stopped for a while. 110% recommend this flight school.

Preparing for my BFR, I went to Aviator Air to purchase materials in preparation for a BFR. A young flight attendant, who took a voluntary LOA from the local airline (working on her private pilot's license), was attending the check outs counter. Having talked to have flown with the Chief pilot previously, that flight. I walked out with my tail tucked between my legs, but was more disappointed, but not surprised by my almost total inability to taxi a 172. (It's been almost 20 years since I've flown an airplane, and even longer, a light GA airplane). So, anyway, I explained that I had and will be talking with Joe again soon, just to make sure we're on the same page. Aviate, Navigate, Communicate. I expressed my (old fogey ego coming out) "I'm a stick and rudder man. And I've been disappointed by all the banter that is expected in a light plane, even for basic training. Also, I've flown with too many pilots, when push came to shove". Well, guess I got a little too vocal there, but in many cases, quite true.
So transaction complete.on the way out, there was a young flight instructor (I saw him through the glass, rolled his eyes and, reading his lips, saying, "there goes another one"). I did clarify that whoever works with me will have their work cut out.no doubt about it. So, all you young pilots and flight instructors out there.you'll learn soon enough.believe me, you WILL.any license is a license TO LEARN.don't ever forget that. Guess I won't work well with that young man. Even with my years in GA and also now a retired airline captain. I have no ego.not really.and it paid off, many times. Stick and rudder. Aviate, Communicate, Navigate.

Its an incredible experience to come and get your ratings and add-ons here.
Im a current student (PPL-CPL and IFR rated) from the minute you step in, you feel you belong here. Management, ground personal and Instructors are well educated and honest.
Airplanes are well taken care of and maintenance are 100%.

These guys are the best. Made my mind up for me when I was looking for a flight school. Stopped my search the minute I walked in.

Cancelation policies are poor when it comes to trying to advise them of an illness and for not willing to fly due to safety.

By writing this review, I quit learning flight.

I started learning flight in Aviator Air from 10/2015. I spent tremendous time, effort and money in the passing 2.5 years, and about 130 flying hours, the result is I am not even qualifying for a check ride for the basic private pilot license.

By looking at the numbers, there is no reason to continue learning here and I don’t believe the school has any intention to help me achieving my goal of a private pilot.

It’s sad to quit what I loved.

The training environment at Aviator Air is exceptional with well-maintained aircraft, experienced instructors, and new/clean facilities. They are not interested in becoming a pilot mill, which allows them the ability to tailor training specifically to meet your needs. Their staff consists of motivated instructors and friendly personnel who work together to make your experience pleasant. Aviator Air, combined with the easy in and out at KGPM (small town airport feel, surrounded in big time airspace), is the perfect combination to becoming a safe and well-rounded pilot.

I was disappointed. I really wanted to have fun and learn to fly, but my instructor wasn't a very nice person. I felt like he assumed I was to know everything already. He would yell when I made a mistake and treat me like an idiot. Bottom line this is a business and if it took me a thousand hours to learn, they should have welcomed my money. I'll be getting my training elsewhere. Would love to know how many people actually get their license through this place.

I've been renting from Aviator Air for over five years. I did my training at another school, but after getting my private license I started to rent from Aviator Air. The staff was much friendlier and they had more aircraft to choose from. Its always been a good FBO and had a decent rental fleet, but they have really transformed into a GREAT aviation resource ever since new management took over several years ago. The planes are always ready to go, full of fuel, clean and well maintained. The Instructors have always been friendly and helpful whenever I need a refresher after not flying for several months or need to complete my biennial flight review.

The staff is amazing! The pilots are so knowledgeable. Great place to eat and fly with friends and family or to go to if your interested in becoming a pilot. I recommend this business!

I can't say enough good things about this facility and their staff. Everyone is very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The instructors are patient and kind. They will work with you at your pace. The aircraft are well maintained and clean. All around enjoyable experience training with Aviator Air.

My wife has been nervous about flying for years. We booked a 30 minute discovery scenic flight. Our pilot was amazing. He talked it's through every step and even let my wife fly the plane once in the air! My wife love it! The staff in the office we very nice as well. Their prices are very good as well. Would definitely recommend them!
