Dropped off groceries for my son, parked in the wrong spot and got my car towed. Very unprofessional management…policies is policies (got to make that extra$)

Over price 1 bedroom apartments, no so good at customer service, needs alot of improvement

I have lived here since Feb 2022 and I like it. My rent went from around $1000 to $1,200, but overall a good place to live. They do take care of maintenance issues timely and communication from management is great. I believe the new management has done a lot to improve the property. My neighbors are great, except occasional smell of weed from somewhere. Only complaint I have is their laundry, which is always out. They do have multiple laundry, so it is not a big issue though.

Randomly shut the water off to make repairs and don't notify their residents or complete the required repairs in a timely manner

I’ve lived here almost a year and a half, and I have a few important things to say to potential renters. 1.pest control is non existent yet every month residents are being charged for “pest control services” my apartment has been roach city and I’m consistently going through entire cans of raid just trying to be comfortable. 2. Management is horrible. Shala Masters is completely unprofessional and doesn’t care about the tenants, or getting their needs met. She’s rude. I talked to her on the phone earlier and she hung up in my face after she decided to have an attitude and I didn’t allow her to bully me. This whole place has a very “sorry I don’t know what to tell you, deal with it” attitude. 3.maintenance is okay for the most part. Very timely. There was an issue where one of the maintenance men let themselves into my apartment and let one of my cats out. I also had my AC go out last summer and when they fixed it water started leaking from the inside unit and messed up the tiles. I brought this to their attention and a maintenance guy even looked at it when he came and fixed my water heater but nobody ever did anything. Most of the “good” reviews are fake because they have offered giveaways where all you have to do to enter is “leave a review” so you can go ahead and ignore them. They also have a contract with rapid recovery who will tow your vehicle for whatever reason they choose. (Said I didn’t have a sticker which wasn’t true then when I sent them and Avila a photo they switched up and said it was for the registration sticker) long story short save your money, and go somewhere else.

UPDATE: called the police on me as I was moving out for pulling my Jeep in the grass to move my furniture. Even the police acknowledged that they see 16 foot uhauls do the same thing and Avila was giving me a hard time. Bald headed maintenance man is a hot head. Total liability to the company.

For the most part it’s a pretty good place to live. The complex is well taken care of. My main issue is that I’ve gotten charged for pest control fees every month but I haven’t seen a pest control guy come in months even though I take the day off of work to make sure my dog is out of the apartment when they come. I don’t have any bug issues, though. I would definitely recommend this place as it is a good value at its price.

We lived here for a little over three years and there was scheduled maintenance for pest control like they used to leave notes when they will be coming by. We just don't get those anymore like the notes stop and I have been home ever since my accident for these past few months and I just can't recall the last time I let the orkin men inside our apartment. They always knock before entering and I would put our cats inside our bedroom. But they just stopped coming to Avila like they did before because I asked our neighbors about this and they haven't really been seen by them either. Now we have noticed that roaches are appearing and just paid rent had a charge for pest control. I told my boyfriend to finally bring this up because he shouldn't have to pay for a service that hasn't been given as it used to be.

It's a really nice property despite the loud music from my next door neighbor across the way. Also, there is alot of dog poop everywhere and people don't pick it up.

There is always trash and dog poop everywhere or people poop hopping and leaving it a disaster. If you walk around the complex the entire place smells like weed.

Terrible management owners don't care about tenants ownerships changes more than the weather avila partnered with a towing company and towed all tenants cars in lot because of parking lot construction they towed 2 of my cars 1 day before rent is due and they expect me to pay rent and 600 to get my cars out the impound Shala Masters is a terrible apartment manager she has no respect for tenants I tried to get a few things fixed in my apartment just for her to tell me you people are always trying to one get over on us called the corporate office to complain 3 times never received a call back spend your money elsewhere

Been a resident for about a year & some change & I most certainly recommend living here! The property is nice & quite … the office staff has GREAT customer service I’ve never been to a more welcoming property nor have I had any issues with my unit Thank you Avila!

Roaches roaches roaches roaches! Awful roach problem, over priced and poor parking, way to many dogs, and did I say roaches. I understand apartments have roaches but this is too much pulled my new refrigerator out about two weeks after I lived here and it was already full of roaches! Crazy because it was brand new fridge and we had only lived here two weeks

I don’t recommend moving over here. I have been stay here since last year of June and I have been paying more than im supposed to be paying, they constantly goes up on my rent and robins make up fake charges when I’m paying more DO NOT MOVE HERE
