Let me start by saying this Avis location is the BEST to rent from. LOGAN IS AMAZING! Thank you Logan for always having a great attitude and giving amazing customer service. I have rented many cars from many different companies and this location sets the standards of how customers should be treated. Logan always has a smile on his face and goes above and beyond for his guests. Never let go of Logan, he's the best!

I have been renting from Avis for years because of my business travels. This specific location Alamo Ranch in the Walmart Supercenter is the best. The owner, John and manager, Logan provide the best customer service to everyone. I have watched it while standing in line. They take care of all the customers by going over and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. They always have the best response to take care of your needs. They are hands down the best and I will not go to another location because they work together as a team. They explain the policy and procedures when renting with them. Communication is great. If you are unsure about an additional fees, they explain it to you so that there is not an issue. Great prices and benefits but they are the best Avis Rental location in San Antonio.

This avis goes above and beyond. The staff are friendly and eager to help. There are cars available and the price is very good. I will definitely keep coming here

Avis would not return 450 dollars they owe because I turned the car in 2 days early. They stole my money! Car was due back on 12/4 and I returned back on 12/2… Avis rentals stole my money!

Came to pick up a rental and didn't even have a car smh. What type of business is they are running. No notification or nothing. This is unprofessional

I received a call about 6 hours prior to my reservation time stating that I had no vehicle to pick up. They had been trying since Saturday to find me a 12 seater passenger van. I had prepaid for this months prior $909. This was totally ridiculous and uncalled for. This company is reckless. And on top of that once I got on the highway trying to atleast go 70 the whole van shook. Very uncomfortable ride for the miles we had to drive from Texas to Colorado. The worst experience renting a vehicle I have ever had. I will never rent from Avis again.

Twice in a row i had a rental reservation set up for the following day at 530 and Jamie claimed to be the manager there and each time I called to make sure the reservation was ready to go as I myself am running short on time and this lady was incredibly rude and unaccommodating stating “ma’am we close soon you should’ve already been here” I told her both times I’ve attempted to rent a vehicle at this location she answers with an attitude so ready to go home and just rude for no reason she told me she doesn’t get to go home early “believe me” well then why are you so rude each time and quick to say oh we dont have anymore reservations for today. Umm check your screen you do…It’s been there since YESTERDAY. I understand you close at 6: 00pm which is why all you have to do is hand me the keys everything else is done for you i even digitally checked in online I’ve made it as easy as I can why are you so lazy? I will NEVER go to this location I cant stand rude lazy people, DO YOUR JOB until CLOSING TIME not 30 min before. Then to make it worse Jamie had the nerve to tell me “past 5: 00 pm our systems shut down. ” Oh really? Then why are reservations able to be scheduled for 6: 00 pm and what kind of business has their “systems shut down” a whole hour before closing. Stop lying. Do your job or find something that fits you because customer service is NOT FOR YOU. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau with this one to make this complaint more public as obviously at this level NOTHING will be done.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this location. The clerk is always friendly and is prompt to get you going. I always book through Priceline. I think the rates are great

Had a reservation, went in at 530. The rep was in the employees closet, not wanting to be seen. She saw me walking towards the door and yelled I’ll be out. When she came out she mumbled “I already shut my computers down” then immediately told me there were no cars available. I walk outside there was PLENTY! I tell her I just heard her say she shut her systems down, she YELLS at me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Woohoo Avis. After Enterprise failed to honor a reservatuon, Avis had what they promised and saved the day. 120 a day for economy was kind of ridiculous but still cheaper than Enterprise.
