A&W Restaurant, San Antonio TX

The Cashier Annalisa was very sweet, patient and helpful. We been going to this location since we were little but haven’t visit in a while. It was a nice experience, everything was nice and clean.

Service was bad and order was all wrong. Can someone tell me what side is up? Eatable but not a good experience.

It took them 20 minutes to get my order wrong & it was only 3 items. Never eat there again.

Everything on the menu was about $10 after tax. I refuse to spend $10 on greasy fast food so I left with my party.

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered at the drive thru, was told to wait in the front, waited 20 minutes for a burger that never came then went inside to get my money back and was ignored for almost 5 minutes so this rating is just for service including the management.

I absolutely love A&W but the staff needs to chill out at this location, I understand there's shortages but I have nothing to do with that, mind your attitude when I simply asked where a missing item is.

The store dining is closed, the drive through had 2 cars and we had to wait over 20 mins to talk to someone to order. I am sure it is not the limited staff they had due to the extreme shortage in people wanting to work in fast food. But we never got to order and just left. I hope they do better in the future.

Was only one vehicle in front of me but it literally took more than 20 min just to get to the order screen! Add another 30 for my food it was ridiculous! But food was great!

The staff was nice. The food however was not. It was our first time eating at A&W and it will definitely be our last. We spent $17 on 2 meals, the portions were small, our food was squished and all over the container (I got the hotdog), and the root beers tasted like soda water. Overall, overpriced for below average food.

NOT WORTH THE $11+ I PAID FOR ONE PERSON! Very sloppy, customer service was horrible! Sad thing, I've worked this job before and its not that hard!

There always seem to be something broken. 1st visit the GRILL was not working! Nor was the AC inside. 2nd visit the icecream machine was broke. The food isn't bad. The staff is cool.

1st time ever visiting this place. Went through the drive thu order the 19.99 deal with 4 cheese burgers, 2 fries, and 2 twenty ounce drinks. We get home pass out the order and some went without! 1 of our cheese burgers is basically a wanna be grilled bread with a slice of cheese, pickles, ketchup and mustard ‍️

Multiple staff members were super friendly.

Please replace your mic at the drive through though, couldn't understand a word your staff was saying.

Came here because everybody and their mamas mama was at the chicken sandwich place next door to this establishment. Employees at the window and intercom were straight forward and professional. Here’s the catcher, as we left the business with our family feast approaching the traffic light, an employee ran to catch us to hand us the only thing that was missing, two jalapeños. Ain’t nobody have energy like them go see them!

Was in drive thru for 15 minutes when I got to ordering they say no burgers they should have had that posted prior. Not happy.

Currently sitting in the drive thru- the A&W rep is very unpleasant- rude and unhelpful. I paid over $40.00 waited 10 mins and the grills dont work to make matters worse on top of being treated in such a rude manner THE ORDER WAS ALL WRONG! MY FAMILY AND I Will NEVER SPEND MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN!

Customer service there is always terrible. Extremely slow. If you're in a hurry don't bother they'll take 30mins just to "make" a soda. If they have a small rush they will move even slower just to get people to drive off so they'll have to do less work and so people will quit going back. I know that strategy very well. It does work because I know i will try to avoid going back.

Terrible takes forever to get your food and then its cold when you get it. Also its suppose to be a root beer place but that was nasty to

This specific location only is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My order had to be repeated 4 times on the com and when I drove up to the window 2 more times. I was asked to drive to the front & they would bring me my food. After 19 more min when I got it, it was wrong. Everyone e li se was wearing masks but Jose at the window took it off and on 4 times and when he had it off wiped his nose in that I'm removing snot from my runny nose way b4 putting it back on only over his mouth. The other 2 employees were great and told me to report him. Not going back until Jose is gone. (very disappointed. Love Long John's but not this location)
