Awaken Church, Round Rock TX

Awaken is a great, family-friendly church with a contemporary vibe, yet it avoids many of the pitfalls of modernity. The pastors cater to a wide range of Christians, with a tilt towards newer converts. Despite that, they don't entirely shy away from serious exegesis and heavy topics. The worship team is talented and, more importantly, passionate about our Savior. To me, the greatest thing about Awaken is the humility of the leadership: they aren't puffed-up dudes seeking celebrity status or external validation, but dedicated servants who, in love, are trying their best to model Christ and teach the truths of God's Word.

My daughter and I moved here 2 years ago looking for a good non-denominational church… what we found was a genuine, welcoming community in Christ that has truly become our family in Texas. I don’t know where we’d be without Awaken. It is a solid, bible based, Holy Spirit filled, down-to-earth, authentic and intentional church. I truly thankful that God led us here

Awaken is a place that made me feel at home when I was away from home. The pastors, leadership and community are welcoming to every person who walks through the door and are a true resemblance to who Jesus is. I immediately felt at peace at Awaken, and was greatly blessed by my experience there!

I love this church! And it is not the building itself, but it's the body of believers challenging each other to be bold, to go out, and to get uncomfortable! I love the diversity of cultures being united for the cause of Christ!
