Haley, Sue, Alicia, and all the Staff Members, Go Above and Beyond to make certain that the Patient is comfortable and well taken Care of. Dr. Makkena is very attentive to The Health and Issue's His Patient may be Experiencing. Good, On Them All.

Dr. Makkena was great on my first visit. The office is clean, well organized, and extremely professional. Wait times were minimal, and my overall experience was nothing but possible. Hopefully my health stays strong so I don't have to routinely visit, but if I do, I know they will treat me right.

I am extremely amazed at the patience and detail Dr. Makkena has shown each time I have visited. No question was too frivolous, and he never appeared hurried. His staff has always been attentive to my particular scheduling needs nor have I ever waited excessively in his office to be seen. 5 STARS are not enough.

He is an incredible Doctor who easily and efficiently explains to you what has happened and what you will need to do to get back some level of normalcy!

Love this office and the entire staff! When I first started coming to them, I was in severe heart failure, and with their attentive care and medication adjustments along the way, I have made significant improvements. I would never trust my cardiac care to anyone else.

I love the friendly atmosphere I experienced and the quick responses I was given when I went to my first visit with Doctor Makkena several months ago. This included everyone of the staff I came in contact with including the receptionists at both check-in and departure, the nurse and Dr. Makkena. I was concerned about the possibility of "having to start all over" with a new cardiologist after the death of my long-time cardiologist. He listened to my concerns and made the necessary adjustments in medications. Dr. Makkena put me at ease and I left with a positive feeling. My follow-up appointment recently was the same. Everyone was patient and took time to listen to me.

Dr Makkena was recommend to me by my PVP and I couldn't be happier! He is always polite, professional and caring. I have never felt rushed during appointments, he takes time to listen to what I have to say and ask. My wife accompanies to my appointments and he treats her the same. I immediately felt very comfortable when Dr. Makkena came in hospital room. He was very clear with his info so I understood everything he said without being talked down to and he spoke in very gentle voice.
