Bandera True Value Hardware

Wonderful store with large variety of goods. The two employees I interacted with were very helpful and cheerful. Went in to get a backup battery for my home alarm system. Easily beats the price of other local hardware stores (even those in San Antonio). Happened to walk by the small gun selection and found they had the 5.7 ammo that is still relatively hard to find. Their price is as low as the lowest I can find in the greater San Antonio area.

Best retail place I have visited in years. Superb customer service. Top notch service. Everybody is knowledgeable of products. This place is huge. Spent alot of time looking around, was passing through, didnt get to see all. I will drive from San Antonio to shop here for all my hardware needs.

Just about everything you could need for hardware, tools, and homewares. I like their selection of frozen quail, venison, and ground boar. Nice folks

Clerk expected me to go back and get the price of each item I had. Lousy customer service. I will begin shopping elsewhere as of today.

I love this True Value, hands down better than any hardware store in the surrounding area. The employees remember you and they're always very friendly most of the time.very happy to help and extremely kind and selfless. For being in a very small town, they have great prices. Comparably their prices aren't high they are pretty reasonable and considering inflation in general you can't spend the gas to drive to Kerrville, San Antonio or Boerne and get anything cheaper once your trip is over. Sooo.if you haven't been into the True Value in Bandera you need to go in there and browse around.they have things that a lot of True Value or other hardware stores generally have, as far as unique gardening tools or gadgets. They have some nice gift ideas for anyone on/for any occasion which I've actually gone to Bandera just to go to True Value for. There are a few things that I frequently go back for because they always have them for less money than I'd spend locally. The guy that works in the key / tool area I wish I could remember his name I always forget it, he's got black hair he's been there forever.he is always above and beyond the most helpful of any sales associate that I've ever encountered at any store in my life he'll go the extra mile to help you in any way he can whether it's in his department or not. You never leave feeling like you didn't get the help you needed he'll answer all your questions. The gal at the paint counter is terrific too.she'll answer all your paint related questions and and she knows her stuff lastly the guys back in the guns and knives are awesome to they let you look at just about any knife you want to and as a woman I'd like to look at them all haha and they never seem inconvenienced or make you feel like you're wasting their time. I think I've covered it all I guess this is a long review because I can't find the right words to say about them and feel like I got my point across.that they're just a fantastic group of people there love these guys/gals and I'll miss them tremendously when I move back to Missouri. I wonder if I could just take the store with me? Riiiiight. Thank you all sooooo much for being you!

Excellent hometown hardware store. The staff is tip notch and the items cover my home repair and maintenance needs.

Very friendly employees, and knowledgeable. I have found some things are cheaper at True Value, than the dollar store!

Especially for a small town, great prices and great service. Selection is pretty decent as well. Almost always saves me from going to the big city.

Great selection, clean and organized, and the best staff! So nice when you need help, that someone ALWAYS is available to help you, and knows exactly what you need and where to find it!

No soap worker made my sandwich walked into bathroom after me and went right to the kitchen grabbing food. My sandwich was super old. Couldn’t finish it felt so grossed out.
