Barcadia Dallas reviews
16Smaller Barcadia but good games and nice small atmosphere. Cheap game point cards, expensive drinks.
While dining at this restaurant I fell. The tables are too close to a concrete ramp and don't allow patrons to safely get out of their seat. There is no rail to protect the customers or to warn them that the ramp is there. When I got up to order my food (that's apparently what you have to do here) I fell off the outer ledge of the ramp. The employees saw me fall and didn't even offer to help me up or ask if I was okay. They didn't show any concern. I ended up having to go to the hospital and discovered I had a broken fifth metatarsal.
This place was a cool lil spot to chill, have some old skool arcade/game fun & have a drink. Most of the games are free which is awesome, theres a few u have to pay to play, but the old fun 1s (aka the best 1s) are free (yay). Galaga was lil glitchy looking but still played it & had fun, did not eat here but the Mac n' cheese balls looked bomb
Nice place to go and relax play some games the food was good and the service was really nice. Will go back.
Packed on weekends. But was here last Saturday and it was solid. Didn't eat here and there close to no parking on weekends after 10PM. But nothing bad to say.
Great vibes, I've been here several times and I've definitely enjoyed each time that I've went
Most expensive beer in all of Dallas. $36 for a domestic bucket of unopened beer that gets a 20% gratuity added onto it.
I suffered a serious injury to my face a few months ago and so especially for that reason it has been difficult for me to get myself out and having fun with friends. Last Friday night I received a brutal reminder that apparently I don't look enough like myself anymore post-injury by a rude bouncer. I have never run into this problem at any bars before now, as I am the same person in my ID picture, just with a large scar and a broken nose now. After handing my drivers license to the bouncer he held me up for at least a half a minute while others waited behind me and then asked if I had another ID. I said yes and handed him my handgun license. After staring at both ID's and my face he asked if I had a card or something else also with my name on it. (2 forms of ID should have been MORE than enough) Politely I showed my insurance card with the same name as the others (MY 3RD FORM OF ID). Even with all this proof and the explanation about my injury, this man denied my entry, citing that he didn't believe any of my Identification was legitimate or that it was me, despite me being 24 and having been a patron for years.
This was a very painful reminder of my injury and how I am going to be looked at and treated differently moving forward now that my face looks differently than other's.
Im sorry if this was a misunderstanding but its hard to think otherwise after showing 3 different forms of ID and having a bouncer chuckle to himself as he denies me, thinking that I am not in-fact Me.
The place was very fun, the staff was friendly and memorable. I came July 3rd 2022 and it was a great way to release my stress Network and hang out with friends. I went to the bar down the street and their drinks was double the price. I came back because this place is the place to be compared to the others.
Haven't yet experienced the whole bar code thing and don't wish to do it again, as far as payment goes, otherwise many young, pretty people hanging out enjoying themselves
5 star dive maybe but this bar is absolutely horrendous. Let’s talk about the MINT LEAVES they tried to deceive me with on my Margherita pizza when I clearly can see it’s not basil. LOL. Then when I bring to their attention they tell me it’s good and to eat it. I tell the guy it’s nasty and he tells me to stop yelling. I never raised my voice once. The tall white male bartender with the long brown hair and the long face, stay away from this man at all cost especially if you are a woman. Just don’t even give your money to this bar. Also, for the ladies…. Use the bathroom before you come here. You don’t wanna get kicked out for using the mens restroom when the ladies bathroom is out of order. Either that or bring your urostomy bag to collect your urine. If you enjoy holding your pee, paying 20 dollars for 2 drinks, mint on your margherita pizza, out of order bathrooms and shiesty bartenders this place is for you!
Good location with several ciders on tap. Food and service are good as well. Main parking option is across the street at the lot with the wooden fence.
Unsure if it was the fact that me and my friends were the only black ones there or if there were just making stuff up but we got turned around because I had on a sleeveless shirt. There is nothing on the website about a dress code. And because I’m from out of town I expected better. Won’t be trying to go there again on any of my future visits. It’s 90+ degrees outside and can’t wear a sleeveless shirt is beyond me
One of the worst experiences I have had in a bar in a long time. I ordered a margarita pizza and the bartenders put mint on my pizza instead of basil. Then laughed when I complained.
Such a weird and harassing experience. I don’t recommend females enter this bar. Very intimidating and bullying behavior from staff.
Great service. Food was cool! I would love to see a better game selection…. Maybe Ms Pac-Man, Street Fighter or (Mortal Combat), Centipede…just a suggestion! Overall we had a great time and there was a nice crowd!
We had a great time. The owners brother talked us into coming to check it out && it was def worth trying. We had chips with salsa && queso, also boneless wings. They were all really good. Bartenders were quick, drinks were perfect. The staff was very attentive to any and all issues. There was broken glass in the restroom, found someone to clean it quick. Its a big kid bar with the best arcade games.
