Baris Pasta & Pizza, Pflugerville TX

I stopped here with my boyfriend and family, and was quite honestly disgusted. The "manager? " Was in fishing shorts and a shirt, wandering around the empty restaurant barking orders. The server looked miserable, barely spoke, and was extremely combative over an order that was visibly incorrect. The food was tough from constant reheating (disgusting by the way), flavorless and expensive. My brother quite literally had old bulk pasta and a miserable dollop of canned sauce. I see why this restaurant is so desperate with its pricing. It's old, cheap, and being run into the ground by a fool. Hopefully, this cheap ripoff of Italy will be put out of its stale misery.

Baris is one of our favorite places for take out. Surprisingly I have never tried their pizza but you can’t go wrong with their 2 best dishes. Ok well my favorite 2 dishes. Linguini in red clam sauce or white sauce. The meal comes with a nice roll and is a big portion. I know, you probably never had clam but trust me on this one. It is full of flavor and filling.

Plenty of clean tables. Service was good. I ordered the chicken Parmesan lunch special. The piece of chicken seemed to be very formed, like it was a thin slice of cheese off a block. There's not much seasoning. Edible? Definitely but nothing special. 2 people in my party got pizza, it looked tasty.

The food is amazing. It comes to you hot. The pizza is the best. But let me tell you if you want good wings this is where you need to go. My husband is hard to please when it comes to dining out but even he was happy with the food. Trust me you will not be disappointed. We have went back to try different items and all delicious.

The food is really good at modest pricing but, it's the garlic bread they serve with your meal that's the draw for me

I came to baris pasta and pizza after a long day hoping to have some good food. I have the best servers Jocelyn and Gideon, who invited me with a warm welcome.the music in the background as you is so calming and relaxing. Thank you to the delicious food! I love baris pasta and pizza! It’s my new favorite place to go to! The food hits the spot.i’m so suprised because reviews said it was that good but it is! Definitely coming again!

If you're looking for a tasty meal, good portion sizes, reasonably-priced food, and friendly staff, look no further. Nice to have such a quality place close by.

Darn. I feel bad not giving a good review but I guess I feel like people should know.
The pizza was.gross. Greasy and cheap-tasting and looking, the crust was sub-frozen pizza quality and the sauce was watery and uninspired. Frankly, this is a bad pizza circa 1983, let alone 2023.
The chicken fettuccine alfredo had very little chicken but plenty of tasteless fettuccini and thin, watery alfredo.
The service was great and the atmosphere is fine. I just feel bad. I'm sure it's hard to own and run a restaurant. But this experience felt like the kitchen was really, really phoning it in. I get it that costs need to be low and the restaurant is next to a high school so maybe the audience generally has less discerning tastes, and I'm certainly not picky, but the food was just.bad.

Late lunch pizza. No diet Coke. Pizza was quite good. Salads fresh and large with shaved Parmesan. Very good!

I've ordered from them consistently over the last few years and I'm sad to say this place has really gone downhill. Their food is lacking freshness, flavor and quality. I ordered the chicken parm and lasagna, which was tough like overcooked beef and full of tomato paste, not sauce, dry old paste. I'm sad to say, go somewhere else for your Italian food.

Super sweet and quaint local Italian restaurant. My husband and I really enjoyed a family style meal of habanero wings, Caesar salad, pizza, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Plenty of delicious food for us and to take home to enjoy another meal.

I love Baris, but a couple of months ago I ate there with 2 companions paid the bill and left. Later checking my receipt I saw that I had been charged for 2 entrees my party did not eat. I took my receipt spoke to the manager, who profusely apologized and agreed to credit my card for said amount. Fast forward 10 days later two additional phone calls and the charges remained. Finally just turned it over to my credit card company to handle. For such a piddling amount Baris has lost a long time customer. Such a shame!

The service is horrendous. It was terrible two times before but we thought we would give it one last shot. Never again! I would recommend not wasting your time at this establishment. Very poorly managed. It is too bad because we used to love going here.

Very nice family owned and operated for many years. I get a wonderful dish of chicken Parmesan over fettuccine Alfredo. The ability to get Alfredo sauce and marinara is soo good! It's not a fish on the menu.but it should be!

Dinner was pretty good but given the wrong desert. Ordered Baris crème cake got really strong lemon cake. Label your deserts.

Average, nothing special. Meatballs are frozen Walmart specials. Shameful!

I ordered the chicken fettuccini and requested lots of mushrooms and to add spinach. This dish has potential to be really good; however, it's really lacking seasoning (salt/pepper, for sure) and could benefit from adding more cheese, such as the tanginess of parmesean. The sauce was very creamy, just quite bland.

Love it every time we go. This time it had been a little while since we'd been and things had changed. We preferred the old more feel of hospitality with rolls and butter being brought to your table immediately when you are seated. Now it seems like school lunch lady gives you your plate. Maybe someday we can return to when you feel comfortable and that they really want you in their great restaurant.

We really like Baris Pasta & Pizza - it's our hometown Italian spot and really close to home. It looks like they have had a lot of turnover in staffing and that everyone was fairly new this week. I am also not a big fan of restaurants letting staff wear whatever they throw on before work, but that didn't change the flavor of our delicious pizza which is always Delish!
