Barnaby's Cafe reviews
17World class salads, sandwiches, burgers, brownies, and carrot cake. Whether to-go or in restaurant, consistently outstanding. Please open a satellite Barnaby's in Katy.
Small cozy place with outdoor and indoor options as well as pet friendly. Food is well prepared and tasty. Its not oily or salty. The waiters are timely and responsive. Only downside are when sitting outside its too close to street with heavy traffic. Also the bathroom is small barely locks and poorly maintained
Stopped in late ece for deserts with a few friends. Sooooooo yummy. Dog friendly on the patio is a plus. Service was excellent
My wife and I had lunch today (check 109, seated at table 15, served by R. Blanca) at the Shepherd location. We like the place and the people who work there. If we did not like the place or the food we would not go there in the first place. However, one item really got me! After lunch we ordered a Chocolate Cookie to take home for our grandchild. It came in a paper bag. We did not check the content. We paid and left. It was only an hour or two later when we opened the cookie bag to offer it to the kid, what we saw was really gross and inedible: Literally burnt to death, hardened piece of cookie! I felt ashamed and somehow angry. I am sure management would share our disappointment. But what about quality control.
Overall, this was a good experience. My food was tasty and well prepared and the cost was reasonable. This is pretty far from my office, so I don't think I'd trek all the way over here just for the food, but if I were in the area I would come back. My server did not seem very interested in answering my questions, but he was prompt and not rude. The mini brownie for dessert was the perfect size for a little snack. The strawberry lemonade was good, but very sweet. My burger was easily the best part of the meal. It was cooked to medium and juicy and the flavor and bun were great.
Didn’t get to eat because the guy said their going through a shift change and I wouldn’t be able to order for over 30mins.
Don’t come often but when I do I’m slay impressed by the quality and amounts of food served for a reasonable price. Service is always awesome. Thank you Blanca
Restaurant was very clean, compared to other locations. The food was good as usual. My server was very nice. The chicken quesadilla was done very well.
First time here. Its a doggy lovers paradise. We wanted a patio table but the wait was too long due to how many people were waiting because they had their dogs with them. No biggy we sat inside. The place had very good vibes and our server Angel was very nice. We started with the spinach artichoke dip which was yummy. I ordered the swiss mushroom burger, it came with a huge pile of fries. But the burger was really puny for what you charge. We did not like this burger. It was dry with hardly any shrooms. My friend had the chicken pesto sandwich which was really good. So no to your burgers but yes to the sandwiches!
The service was great. The french dip was delicious. There is also a good selection on the menu. Everyone there was very accommodating when we need th tables together outside. They put them together and met our groups every need.
Long time favorite. Went back after long hiatus and it's still fantastic. I had the banana walnut pankcake, best in town!
Just had breakfast at Barnaby's. Wow, good food & service was excellent. Wonderful experience. I felt like I was receiving the service that we used to get in this country when dining out. What a way to start my day
1) it was very cold inside 2) our turkey burgers were very overcooked thus quite dry. 3) our dry turkey burger was $15.50! 3) waitress was very average. Gone are the days when a server would notice you're not eating your food and ask "is everything ok? Food ok? " We paid $36 for a horrible lunch.
Nice place to go eat if you live near by, I live about 30 min out found it looking for a place I could bring my puppy. They were very kind offered water for her and I bought her a dog ice cream I saw they had on the online menu. The waiter was super friendly and gave us a few treats to take home. The Asian wings were really good. I will probably come back again to try other food items for myself.
Do NOT visit if you have a pet. No outside service per company policy. We offered to not have to be served outside, we will bring our food outside. Refused. Apparently if we were allowed to take food it would encourage others? ! Isn’t that the whole point of the patio & Barnabys being dog friendly? ! Barnabys now opens at 11 except this location - useless and pointless, this serves breakfast? Patio closed regardless of time of day. Epicure cafee is 2 minutes away with outdoor seating, parking, great food & no excuses.
Food wait time was longer than usual, even though the place was half empty. Service was also ok. Food was good. One of the less likely locations to visit I'd recommend.
Barnany’s not your best work. I order a Salmon Plate with brown rice and asparagus for take out. This is what I received. I’m very disappointed. This take out meal cost me $20. I expected more.
