Barnaby's Cafe, Houston TX

We had a great meal here. Every one of the staff was delightful and helpful, and great with the children present. We didn't have to wait long for our order, and even though our server Angel hadn't written anything down, every single part of our order (6 people) was correct, including multiple exceptions for dietary restrictions.
The strawberry lemonade was particularly delicious and the fries were cooked perfectly, as were the burgers.
Would definitely recommend.

There is nothing but goodness at Barnaby's. The salads are great and I can't believe they have so many vegan burger options. Celiac safe, too.

Barnaby's makes the trip from The Woodlands to Tanglewood worthwhile. The Sausalito salad is my go to lunch, they should bottle and sell the peanut vinaigrette dressing. I always order the large, it tastes just as good the next day. My friend ordered the Guacamole burger and ate the whole thing. She never does that!
Service always comes with a smile and the food is the perfect temp when it gets to you.
Please, please open a location in Spring, Conroe or The Woodlands.

They don't have brunch. Nice people and good service, ample parking. But the food was undercooked.

As always a great and easy place to get a tasty, fresh meal that isn't fussy or pretentious. The atmosphere is always like a neighborhood place even though the franchise has grown in the 20+ years since I started going to any of the locations. Thank you Barnaby's!

Barnaby's Cafe is incredible! The food and drinks are delicious, the portions are huge, and the service goes above and beyond. For those with pets, the patio is perfect for a meal with your fur children.

Vibe: We dined in the patio at around noon on a Saturday. Tables are pretty spacious and great for groups. The patio is covered, and the big fans on the ceiling keep things nice and cool. It's a pretty casual place.

Service: The servers were very kind and attentive - our drinks were never empty. We told them we wanted to split one of the hamburger entrees and they arranged for it to be divided equally into two individual plates with fries and half the burger! Very convenient and thoughtful.

Food: We ordered the guacamole cheese burger with fries and the spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips. The dip was served hot and melty, and it was delicious with the tortilla chips. The guacamole cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, very juicy and the guacamole was fresh and creamy. The French fries are among the best we have ever had, thin and fluffy with a light crunch and simple seasoning - very addicting. The also go great dipped in the spinach artichoke dip.

Drinks: We got the strawberry lemonade and organic drip coffee. The strawberry lemonade was super refreshing and tasted of fresh lemon and strawberry. There's even some strawberry bits and pulp in there. It was sweet but not overbearing, just right! The drip coffee was great too, very smooth and a good balance of acidity and sweetness. We had it black but it probably would go well with cream too. Refills are included for both drinks, and our server even prepared some strawberry lemonade to-go!

I really like Barnaby's. I'm addicted to Dr. Gayle's Meatloaf, as well as the Apple Pie with Ice Cream. I go to one of the locations once a week or so with friends, just to order those two items. I JUST HEARD A RUMOR THAT BARNABY'S IS DROPPING THEIR SIGNATURE MEATLOAF, as well as other items. IF SO, GOOD BYE BARNABY'S! I'll cry, but there will be no reason to visit you. I'm really sad.

I have visited this location three times now, and each time the food and service was on point. Great energy at this restaurant. It is small and cozy, and the food and service are always very good. Servers really love their job here, as they always deliver a fantastic experience. One of the rare places that never let my tea glass get close to empty! Great place for a relaxing lunch. Looking forward to stopping in again.

I LOVE this cafe and my family does too! Definitely one of my favourites in Houston! Always amazing whether you eat in or take out, and everything is scrumptious on the menu! We love you Barnaby's!

We always get dine in when we eat here, it is one of our favorites! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and their spinach dip is the best. It’s classic food done well. The staff are courteous and friendly.

The best thing about Barnaby's, is that they are dog friendly.
However, personally I feel they have a limited menu. But they do have great soups, salads and burgers. There are a couple of doggy items on the many.
And you will always get great customer Service.
Oh and, try their strawberry-lemonade.

Really good food…even better environment! We came for lunch to go but stayed because of the vibe. Staff was having fun, music was great, customers were talking to each other. We had a great time. Still took some food home because the portions are so generous. The lasagna was perfect!
