Barnes & Noble reviews
16Very nice! They have a big Manga section, which is amazing because last time I was here (over 8 yrs ago) that wouldn't be possible. Happy to see they are moving with the times. They also have a Starbucks inside the place
Was sitting inside the store against the window reading the first few pages of a book I was considering buying and an employee (woman with gray hair) comes up to me and tells me to get up off the floor because I’m not allowed to sit there because of covid.
An hour or so after we leave, my fiancé tells me that an employee (who we figured out was very likely the same employee who demanded I get up) bluntly told him to move as he was flipping through a book at the checkout counter near the employee entrance to the check out desks. She then roped off the area so he wouldn’t stand there anymore. He didn’t have anywhere else to check the book out, as the policy with certain books is that they sit behind the counter and the customers have to ask for them, and can’t leave the area until they hand the book back.
Frustrating experience.
There is still something special about going to a bookstore, even if a chain. Great selections of all kinds of books. Friendly folks.
Wonderful experience great bookstores and, warmed customer service. Yes I'll should return.
Love this book store. Has great selections of many books, if not in stock they will order book for you if available.
I still prefer Mom and Pop book shops. So sad to see them disappearing. But this place is not bad. It's not warm and personal but it's kinda fun, like a mini-mall for books. They do have exclusive editions that you can't find anywhere else. But that's kind of sad too. Oh well. At least people still read books.
These comments are my opinions. My opinions are based on my experiences. Other people have different experiences and may have different opinions.
Nice and secluded. Grab a book or magazine, go to the Starbucks that's inside and read to your hearts content.
Nice store but disappointed in seeing so many books, including Children's and Christmas books, made in CHINA!
Found everything we were looking for but a couple of series. Always clean and the staff is helpful
Go to thriftbooks. They may not be brand new, but Barnes and noble is a rip off. 30 books from thrift books cost me the same as a single 6 case of a set. Don’t waste your money when you get get brand new quality books cheaper. You wouldn’t even know they were used
It was well kept and looked nice. Originally went to look at the Gunpla model kits and Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards but their inventory on those items are really low. I also stopped at the Starbucks inside and it was the lowest point of the trip. The cold brew coffee I got did not taste right.
Taylor County Jail where they were supposed to be shipped to has never received the books I ordered them last week and they were supposed to be in there Friday or Saturday and it's Monday and they still have not arrived to their destination I need to see why
Nice place to buy books, bibles and etc. But everything cost money. Employees are not really friendly. First time yesturday but might be my only time bcuz i am not really feeling it.
Love shopping at the B&N. Good customer service, clean shopping environment and Cafe always a plus. Will continue to shop at this.
I just wanted to buy a coffee and study for a couple of hours, called in before to ask if it was okay but Dana informed me “we prefer if you don’t” because the coffee shop can get busy and people need a place to sit; Noted.
Went here today. The associates were quite rude. One woman kept peeking at me as I read a picture book as though I would stuff it into my SINGLE POCKET ON MY YOGA PANTS and then a man came and told me some made up rule—the same man that seemed annoyed anytime customers touched anything…even though they always put them back where they belonged. It’s a store dude. People are going to TOUCH ITEMS. I dropped what I’d planned to buy and went to Target, had a great experience and bought what I needed cheaper there. I always pass this one up and go out of my way to The Woodlands location which I adore (and worked at for a couple years) but decided to try this one today to save time. NEVER AGAIN. In the future if I don’t want to go to The Woodlands and Target doesn’t have it I’ll just use my Prime account and order from Amazon.
