Barnes & Noble reviews
14Love Barnes and Noble! They always have so much to choose from. Their summer reading program is great! Great atmosphere!
Cannot use Starbucks app in this store. No sign outside to prevent wasting time walking in or in my case rolling in a wheelchair. You must be in store at SB drink counter to read tiny sign with white lettering on Black ground about 2.5 in tall by 3 in wide to notify customers "sorry we don't accept SB loyaly" at this time. General public does not know, nor care, SB has several business units, one of which used be call their 'restaurant' division/agreements. This location needs to accept SB loyalty customer app same as other locations.
I used wheelchair and assistance from someone to go into SB inside B&N not to visit B&N.
Beautiful store with an excellent variety of items for any sports area. Mountain hunting fishing. Very friendly staff excellent place and divinely decorated
So glad they stayed open after many talks of closing, I love going in the book store and looking, purchasing different gift items! And being a teacher, one needs a place to go that helps in the classroom.
Love coming here because there's a Starbucks here. It feels so amazing to chill and read a book while drinking Starbucks. Most amazing feeling ever for my people who love books, you should definitely come here. (Check the manga and romance for me)
I get that B&N has to cater to what sells, but I liked finding unique books instead of those that are mainstream. And half the store is just toys. Great customer service and helpful staff. Great selection for kids books.
I enjoy the aroma of brewed coffee and the soft melody music Starbucks plays in the background. Whether I am working on a few assignments or gaining new knowledge. I enjoy the visit at Barnes & Noble in Cedar Hill.
I came the other day and purchased two books. I asked the worker at the register if they could sneak those two books into my bag when I come back with my husband and daughter. (Birthday books) Went and continued shopping, shortly came back to check out with more. They snuck those books in with out anyone, even me, noticing. Didn’t question the need or seem negative about it. Genuinely seemed happy to help, I really appreciated being able to dodge 100 questions from my daughter. Saturday around 8: 30PM.
The bookstore is nice but the cashier was not friendly. When i came to the register, I said hello. He didn't say anything and not even thank you after my purchase.
As a young black person i felt so unwelcomed shopping here. It was so sad. All the workers were older white people and they were following me with every book i touched. I ended up leaving not buying anything because i felt so isolated and unwanted. Disappointing experience
If you're looking to do some shopping around this B&N is in a great location. It's located in the Cedar Hill shopping area that offers a lot of different stores to choose from, but I came here specifically to come to B&N to hunt for some records. I will say that out of all the B&N that I have been through this one has the small vinyl record section. What was really offputting was where the section was located at, towards the front of the store tucked away in the corner. They also decided to place some of their vinyl records in display one one of those spinning racks that normally houses wall calendars. Their vinyl records also seemed to be kinda thrown together. It could be a huge mess but honestly there isn't much of a selection here to choose from. When I was here it looked like they were doing some remodeling so they had a whole section that was empty. I dont know what it is about this B&N in particular, maybe it's the layout, but I'm not really a fan of this location. I guess my recommendation is that if you're looking for something specific I would save yourself a trip and check online to see if the store has it, but if you're wanting to do some shopping around then the location of this store is desirable.
I Love this location I take my kids to play in the kids library and read books all the time we love hanging out for a bit my daughter loves the Starbucks so we grab some for her sometime.
Great helpful & friendly customer service & spotlessly clean environment. So many options.
