Barnes & Noble Booksellers reviews
31I love Barnes and Noble, they always have the books that I’m looking for and they are always friendly!
Calm, quiet and neat. Everything is easy to find; and, if you can't find it, the staff is there to help. Plenty on sale and many items reduced.
One of the last best book stores. Easy to find the huge selection of children's books. Reading is fun. Lions, tigers and bears have been replaced with wizards, witches, and librarians, oh my.
1. I talked to two people at the store and two at corporate, none of the four could tell me how much my credit card had been charged for a book I was told I had to order, have sent to my address, and pre-pay. The second female I spoke with at the store claimed she was a manager, but had no access to receipts. (My guess: just another employee near the phone who wanted to play like she was at large and in charge, but didn’t have the know-how to show you how.
2. No one could explain to me why I couldn’t buy the book at a store. (My bad – I thought they were in the business of selling books to people.)
3. The shipping address they gave over the phone was not the one I provided in person at the store, and verified by looking at the screen. No one could explain this phenomenon.
4. All four people told me the book had shipped but had no clue why I had not been notified by e-mail that the company even had an order from me.
The mystery continues as to how these people can possibly stay in business. Peeps, a lot of real book stores would love your business. Here, not so much.
Good place. Actually I went this week because I need a book with specific information and a young lady who works there help me a lot, she was very nice, bring me exactly the book I need it. Thank you very much
OooRah! Yes, they are open during virus crises. Staff and customers wearing masks. I like their new display area for new fiction/non-fiction books. Much easier to find and pick out your favorite or newly discovered authors.
I have a weakness for Mr. Nobles place. I always find more than what I need. This time they have these new journals. Look as if from the old century all leather. Good price not over 40 dollars.
Lots of of books, calendars and a vinyl music room.also some are connected to a video game store. Free parking and takes credit cards.
A Barnes & noble with out a coffee shop? Sorry does not work for me. Never going back to this place.
I am a member and I do visit other B&N near by often
Super place for books. A bit overpriced at times. Beware of Texas crickets towards end of summer.
Barnes and Nobles definitely was a pretty cool place to browse around in. They're all sorts of books elections what I like most about it though where the discount books that they have. They had some pretty amazing prices on books that I was looking for in terms of DYI as well as home hacks so if you're looking for those type of books they definitely have them there.
Nice quiet and even though I went into to look I ended up buying 3 books that were inspirational books for me to share. And the customer service I received was great.
Book stores always give me extra breath. Extra advantage is that, this Barnes & Noble is sharing the same wall with Starbucks and a door too. Very quiet environment, you can spend good time by reading books. Only thing I was missing, there ware no toys or play area in children's section what my daughter used to get in other Barnes and Noble.
We enjoy this store! Free readings for the kids are fun and exciting every saturday.spend too much money but isn't that life with kids?
Good place to spend a good evening. Good selection of books. Great people working there, very helpful.
We came in because of a manufacturer's defect in a book called 'Space Case'. They had it, but did not have the third book in the series. Overall, they had great customer service and were very helpful. They exceeded my expectations by far. However, I was disappointed that they did not have the third book in the series, as I now have 1 and 2, but not 3. However, I will be happy to return to buy the 3rd book.
The employees helped me figure out if the books my son wanted were right for his age group. They were really helpful
"A lot of people came in looking for this book in the month of February, hmmm I wonder why. " Was her exact words and the only thing she said to me. Are you kidding me! Ma'am black people support black authors all year round, not just black history month. That comment was not necessary at all. I was so caught off guard by her ignorance, I wanted to check her, but for the sake of me causing a scene and being labeled an angry black woman, I decided to just be the bigger person. As always WE have to be the bigger person. Truly disgusted.
Have been coming to this location for the past 20 years. I could spend hours sitting here looking through all the books!
I bought two different kind of books over there. The place stuffs are very kindly and helpful. And also My daughter likes the place very much:)! Because there are many toys for her. While you buy some books or different things your children can also play with toys.
