Bartlett's Lumber & Hardware reviews
9It’s honestly some of the highest quality wood you could get. I have been here numerous amounts of times and the yard guys are always so helpful and friendly. I usually like to start my projects in the morning so I tend to come to the store around that time. The Bartlett’s here in Dalhart can’t be compared to any other one I’ve been, it’s always a pleasure coming here early and getting my morning wood!
I really like this Bartlett's location. The lady at the front, Stephanie, was very nice and made me feel welcome. I even saw her go and feed several stray kittens in-between the outside lumber bins several months ago. Nice to see some class & humanity still left in this world.
I always find what I need for diy projects. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are very polite also.
I can only say it's like all lumber yards, and sometimes find it in better locations with less than the travel
Always friendly and most helpful at all times. Just a bit confusing due to the shop bring rearranged. But still awesome people!
Newly remodeled. Great crew very helpful. Great place for all you building materials. And even more inside. Need to stop in
I bought some things I thought I needed but didn't. Great store and friendly Texas people.
I came in on the 20th to purchase some 5/8” ‘plytanium’ plywood for a project. I’d called first for price, and paid for some then went to load. The crunched up bands-burst shipping bundle was so badly broken and warped it wasn’t worth firewood. Broken and deformed smashed at top and and still badly warped at the bottom. Next bundle below was still warped at the top and might have had flat sheets at least half ways down. I refused to take that and asked the loader if there was anything flat? He gestured to some 3/4ths in an open bundle nearby. I paid the difference and took that. The two stars missing are for material that was TOTALLY unsellable and obviously so not being removed down to any useable product below-that first bundle was so bad it should have been obvious even if if was wrapped to ship.
These guys were great. I was traveling with my family from New Mexico to Missouri after settling my uncle's estate. Somehow the back window of the camper shell in our truck shattered and we needed to get it fixed before driving in to rain in Kansas. They had everything we needed, cut the plexiglass to size and offered to help if needed. So much better than Home Depot! If you live in Dalhart or surrounding area, this should be your go-to hardware store.
