Bartlett's Lumber & Hardware reviews
5I am not a long time resident of Hemphill County, but my parents have lived in Lipscomb County for almost 30 years. I went to Pampa to run errands and get supplies, since I have recently relocated to the area. I bought a piece of wafer board in Pampa and the staff in the lumber area did a horrible job cutting it in half for me. I am in a wheelchair and Handicapped so I really need extra help and a knowledgeable staff to help me. I sent my girlfriend in with some instructions on how I needed my wafer board cut down into manageable pieces. Joe and Beto at the Canadian store are top notch and a class act. They took us in the warehouse and cut the pieces accurately and on the money. Thanks guys. You will see me again and if anyone is in Lipscomb County, Hemphill County, Roberts County or even Gray County. GO TO THE BARLETT'S IN CANADIAN! TRUST ME! THEY ARE THE BEST! THANKS GUY'S!
Looked ouke they had a lot just not what I was looking for but great service they helped me look
If you're fixin' to do some fixing, this is the place to go to in Canadian!
Horrible and frustrating experience. I've been in this store three times in as many years and nothing has changed each time. An old man sitting on a bucket, grouchy rude employees behind the counter who say hello because they have to, and two hispanic employees who are always working loading orders and helping you find things while the others sit behind the counter on their phones. Luckily i can stop at a more professional store with willing employees and grab what I need when I travel to Canadian to work on family needs and projects. Maybe next month when I come down things would be different but I doubt it. What can you expect from a small town with only one store to get lumber and hardware, no wonder it has such rave reviews, shameful.
