15I had a great experience when looking for a shotgun they had advertised on sale. I was pleasantly surprised at the great selection of rifles, shotguns and ammo in stock. The sales lady was extremely helpful and knowledgeable which helped me decide to make a purchase.
They make you make a reservation for Santa which I didn’t know. I tried to make one inside the store but the internet was terrible. Asked for help and No could help me! One person said just get in line they will squeeze you in. I got in line and the lady told me to make a reservation and I told her I couldn’t. The lady behind me told her there wasn’t anything available. They then still wanted me to make a reservation and wait in line all over again. Absolutely not! That place is terrible at customer service and apparently likes to disappoint children. Asking for help is like pulling teeth. Never again will I waste my time with this company.
Great store and selection but terrible experience on Monday at 3: 30pm that won’t have me returning. I was only 4th in line and still waited 20+ minutes to buy a $250 gift card for a Christmas gift. They were only operating 3 cash registers out of the 6 (or more) available. There were no gift cards around the checkout, the cashier didn’t have any, and she had no idea where any were. She pointed out into the store as if she wanted me to exit line and go ‘find’ one. At this point the line had at least 15 people. I wasn’t going to spend another hour trying to find (or not) gift cards and then stand in line again. I’ll take all my business to Academy.
We drove an hour and a half to go see Santa today. We get there for our 3pm appointment I had to schedule a week ago, and Santa wasn't there. He finally showed up late. He was frumpy, his clothes didn't fit right, he looked dirty, and was grumpy. To top it all off, he wouldn't hold my 12 month old in his lap and wanted him to sit on a bench in front of him. Well, I was not going to put my baby on a high bench by himself! I ended up having to hold my baby in my lap for the picture and I didn't dress or plan for that! The parents behind me in line also had small babies and weren't planning on being in the picture. No telling how far they drove to get there. I won't be taking mine back or recommending this Bass Pro for Santa Pictures!

Bathrooms were also very clean
Went to look at boats and there’s hardly any stock to look through. Then went to the gun bar and there were so many rude people around you could not get anywhere close to see the guns. I was so frustrated. Not much to look at all. We wasted a three hour trip.
This place is just amazing! I could work here but never get a paycheck cause there is so much here I love! It's a lifestyle!
My wife and 2 sons decided we would all get gun licenses and firearms. First time gun owners. We went to Round Rock Bass and tried to use the scan qr reservation app since there was a line waiting to be helped. It was out of order. So i waited. 30 minutes. I was finally up next and the employee told me to come in and start looking and I world be helped next. I waited and waited while the 3 employees helped all sorts of people. I didn't know if they were in front of me or not. I keep standing there looking for help and was ignored. Finally left. Terrible experience. Waisted an hour. I read similar experiences from others. Very angry.
Great place! The guy in the shoe dept was awesome! Cashier last customer service skills for sure! Other than that great experience!
I have two stars because there are a few other items not bass pro labeled that are mid grade in the fishing area. Pretty disappointed as there are no high end reels…whether it be fly reels, spinning, casting, conventional. Same with rods. Very limited selection and mostly bass pro branded product which are few and far between for good products. They mostly want you to order items like rods, reels and a lot of tackle, and most of it ships from the manufacturer, which takes longer than ordering from somewhere like Tacklewarehouse for the exact product.
Ongosh! Bass Pro Shop is the best place to go. Food entertainment aquarium sports and outdoors. Anything you can think of is here. I will definitely go back.
Gun counter was extremely slow. I totally understand that this is a busy time of year, and I am sure they are dealing with staffing issues (just like everyone else). But.the 2 guys working back there were operating with absolutely ZERO sense of urgency to help the 7 people waiting in line. I stood in line for 25 minutes before just giving up.
I’m leaving this review for my dad who is a senior citizen, he bought a Mercury 9.9 motor brand new for him and mom so they can enjoy fishing in their boat with this nice tx weather we have been having and ever since it’s been nothing but a head ache for them. Thankfully it’s under warranty BUT the Marine outboard department has been nothing but rude to my parents especially MARY. She stated to my dad that she doesn’t know anything because she and everyone in the department had just came back from vacation and nobody knows anything about anything and on and on. As he said she was nothing but rude to him and ended up hanging up on him and when my dad called back she played it off as them being disconnected. He continued to call other departments that could be more help to him because he didn’t want to feel belittled as a paying customer who constantly gives business to this company. Hopefully we will hear some answers soon. BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS MARY!
Good store with good market level prices on guns. Taking a point away for the non stop *raffle tickt* sales pitch at the end of the ammo aisle.
Love BassPro but this one really need to do something about customer service, I was trying to get a gun so you sing in in this quidini app so they can call you and while I was waiting I saw people just go in and they start talking with them, I waited 30min and they never check and I had the same position after I left in about 1 hrs in the store, at one point there where 3guys taking care of one customer that decide no to buy, I really got frustrated and disappointed about their service.
