Bassano Del Grappa Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria reviews
16First time ever. It was worth the wait. Celebrated mine and my sister's birthday. Great food, atmosphere and staff. Will return again for sure
As I was trying to place an order through phone, the male employee was very rude to me by trying to rush me. I was trying to ask only a couple of questions about takeout and then going to order. He rushed me and asked if I was going to order because he needed to go, he was “ very busy and needed to go”. From that point on it wasn’t even worth finishing my order. I’ll be having Italian at Luigi’s in Elgin from now on.
I don’t know what it’s like to actually eat in Italy but I imagine it’s like eating here. We’ve tried several dishes and they are ALL good! Don’t forget to top off with the Italian cream cake! ️️
Very good food and service is fast and friendly. When you visit try something new or maybe something you have not eaten in a while. Try the Chocholate Muse Cake. You will not be disapointed. Excellent creamy Chicken Fettuchine and Tortellini Carbonara.
Everything was done right in the restaurant, great decor, friendly service and clean. But the food was lacking. Wife had the Chicken Piccata and I had the spaghetti. My wife has had this specialty at many Italian restaurants. This time it came out pre-cut length wise, not tenderized/pounded, not breaded, and both of our sauces tasted Campbell Soupish and hers was very salty. Piccata is generally cut width wise and pounded and tenderized and coated with flour. This had none of the above and looked and tasted more like microwaved chicken slices you buy at the store to quickly put in a salad. Neither the pasta or the sauces were anything special and below average in my opinion and experience. Since 2012? Strange considering.
This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants I have been. Great selection, affordable, super friendly staff, very neat and clean, and the owners are actually from Italy. Make sure to try them.
Always amazing. Never disappointed with anything here. Food on point. Wait staff is on point and helpful. Well worth it.
This is hands-down the best Italian place in Bastrop, but 4-stars because it’s little pricey.
I had a shrimp and scallop special which was a little heavier than I had anticipated because of the amount of sauce on the dish. That came with potato soup which was a perfect starter to dip with the free bread they offer when they greet you.
My girlfriend had the Caesar salad with chicken breast. I even asked “How do restaurants make chicken so good! ”.
The two kids had pasta and they had zero complaints… they’re normally picky eaters. They were really impressed with the steam coming off the noodles when the food was delivered to the table.
Definitely coming back here to try something new, like their pizzas. Can they dethrone neighbors?
Lovely experience as usual. Everyone is very polite. The food is always great. Don’t forget to take some dessert home, it’s worth it!
Pizza took forever to come out. Our salads tasted funny and our waiter barely checked on us. When you order cheese bread don’t expect marinara discus without paying for it. Flys are flirting around everywhere will definitely not be back on our trip, rather eat at bucees anytime.
Our hosts at our bed and breakfast recommended eating here, and WOW, were they right! Awesome food, great service and a pleasant, clean environment. Staff were also knowledgeable about our gluten allergies. Would give more stars if I could!
The food was great! I wish the salad didn’t have as much stock in it as it did. There was so much food I think I could make three meals out of my plate alone. Now I will say for the shrimp Alfredo I just wished my shrimp would have been completely peeled. But it was so good and the shrimp were huge that it was worth burning my fingers! My husband had the lobster ravioli and I’ve never seen ravioli that big before. You can definitely tell it’s all fresh. And the restaurant it’s self is very clean and cozy.
Absolutely wonderful, in both service and food! Huge portions, and as tasty as it comes! I highly recommend thus establishment and my family will return as the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, definitely family oriented too!
We ate here when visiting Bastrop. Food was ok. Service was ok. Water, sweet tea and lemonade had an extreme taste of chlorine, we couldn't drink any of it. The place seems popular and was very busy with local people. For us it was a one time visit.
Perfect for date nights. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Excellent food from the bread to the main course. BEST RESTAURANT IN BASTOP!
Love this Restaurant! ️ The Best Italian Restaurant better then Olive Garden! & Waitress was great! Can't wait to go back! I had the Chicken Parmesan with the Alfredo sauce instead of the tomato sauce and it's the So Delicious! Bread Rolls are so good too!
