Bay Area Denture Center, Corpus Christi TX

Please choose wisely and do not choose this dental office. I decided to schedule an appointment here because of the convenience to my orthodontist office. Im currently in the process of getting Invisalign and needed a tooth extracted. I scheduled the appointment for the extraction and told them I needed it done the same day. The front office staff did not schedule the appropriate appointment. That should have been my 1st clue. I get called back and taken for X-rays. I told them I already had X-rays taken and they could get the results from next door at the orthodontist office. I was told that Dr Van Maren wanted his own set. Once Dr Van Maren came into the room he was not friendly and was actually rude. He looked at my teeth told me I needed the extraction, I then stated that’s what I was there to do, he told me I’d have to reschedule for another day. I was told that they had an opening in a few hours and I should be able to get it done same day. I was then taken back to the waiting room. The receptionist called me to the desk and told me my insurance would cover the extraction at 100% but I’d have to come back another day because of the medication I take. I informed them that I hadn’t taken it and I could get it done today. I told them it took me 90 min to get to this office. They didn’t care. I was also told that I would have to pay for the X-rays they took because my insurance had already paid for the exact same X-rays that were taken at the orthodontist office. So they wasted my time (I took off of work, rearranged my schedule and had a 3 hr drive round trip) and are charging me for unnecessary X-rays. Please do not give this dental office your business please go somewhere where you needs can be met and a place where they listen to you and schedule appointments appropriately.

They don't deserve a star but there's a few good people that I met STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Horrible practice and have to report them to board and sue to get your money back after they promised a refund on services not rendered. I needed to finish out 12k in implants but they won't get one more dime from me due to their lying Office MANAGER Patricia

I would not recommend bay area denture. Save some peace of mind and look into other options

I'm gonna be honest I hate Dentists, but I love Dr. Van Maren, he's very patient very soft-spoken not heavy-handed it makes you feel very relaxed. He took out a tooth that had broken and he did it so fast I didn't even know he did he goes okay you're done. Great staff very friendly.

Nice people but they wanted to do x-rays and I told them I didn't want or need x-rays so they couldn't move forward. There's no reason for x-rays for a flipper. You just need an impression, done this a million times. Didn't understand that but I guess it is what it is.

Horrible denture lab. Horrible fit and implants kept coming out from the terrible fit. So much overbite I couldn’t even bite thru a piece of bread. Total waste of my savings and a year and a half of miserable dental work. Didn’t care about any problem you had. Just take your money and run you out the door.
