Baylor Medicine at McNair Campus reviews
16Dr. Ann Xu and her staff was very professional and helpful they explained everything in detail.
If you have no plans of finding answers to your medical issues, this is the place for you. They are not about personalized care or keeping up to date or responding to there patients. Because of there actions they have put my loved ones life at risk. They aren’t proactive in finding answers. She is suffering in pain without any of her normal medications and there first available appointments for follow ups are months out anytime you have a procedure or appt. Multiple times we have experienced them “forgetting” to order tests or not even advising what to do after the tests. Absolute joke and a risk to one’s life going here! All of this happened after a surgery they had to re-do because the 1st dr here decided to go off plan on the first surgery. An absolute nightmare. I could write paragraphs on what we’ve endured through Baylor St. Luke’s.
Professional staff although at times a little slow to process patients with appointments. The nephrology department has provided a good experience overall. As of February 2023, there's construction in the area making Cambridge Street the only entrance into the building. Parking is $5 for the first hour, but it's free if parked for less than 30 minutes.
I am posting a review for Dr Ashwin Viswanayhan's medical assistant, Brandi.
I have never in my life dealt with a more incorrigible, unprofessional and unresponsive, phone receptionist than Brandi.
It has taken nearly 2 weeks playing phone tag to finally get in touch with their office only to be tortured with her inability to use critical thinking skills while simply taking down my information and entering it into your system.
She continued to blame the myriad of prompts that she had to navigate through to CONSTANTLY having me repeat EVERYTHING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, from simple words to at one point using the military phonetic Alphabet. "A" as in Alpha, "B" as in Bravo, "C" as in Charlie.
You have GOT to reevaluate your first points of contacts because my experience to date, with your office has been so traumatic that I am considering looking elsewhere but was referred to THIS Neurology Dept by my personal Physician.
I even recorded the entire conversation and sent it out to my wife and her sister offices to let all of their front office receptionist hear, to use as a training tool!
I have never been more frustrated prior to that phone conversation!
You have to do better!
My neurologist doctor here does not care when I am out of my Medici said luckily I'm not halfway dead because if I were it will be because I didn't get my medicine for my doctor to me that's not a very caring doctor I thought they took an oath I guess not
Wish I could give it a 5 starts but John Rodriguez at front desk 8th floor suite 8B makes it impossible. He had a horrible attitude while trying to figure out if my insurance would cover. He had me standing in front of him for several minutes until 2 other front desk ladies acknowledge the problem and were kind enough to help me. Then I had my appointment with Doctor Matthew Yang and he was the best! Loved how attentive and sweet Dr. Yang was throughout the appointment. Will definitely be back to see him but hoping I never have to interact with John Rodriguez’s horrible attitude again.
Very good staff but shorthanded. I arrived before 915 am and had to leave at 11: 10 AM to make another appointment and I still didn’t get in to see the doctor.
The guy in the 8th floor lab was very nice and professional with my Mom and he made our day. My mom is a very difficult stick and he got it right away and was able to calm my anxious mom down. Good job!
Had a wonderful experience, the nurses on the 3rd floor South Tower were very very nice and professional with my mother. I am forever Thankful.
Dr Edmondson is an absolute nightmare.
He decides to play God with people. Judgemental and racist. Can't run his own office and he is not honest. Very shaming
Excellent doctors, staff and brand new facilities. The buildings are very clean, and the grounds are well maintained.
Dr. Vong was keen and attentive, and did her best to make things most convenient for me despite my not being a convenient patient for her. I had a great interaction with her and with the nurse who did my blood work. She was kind and talked with me to distract me from the needles. Very appreciative of the medical professionals at Baylor College of Medicine McNair.
Heads up, you do have to pay for parking.
I work in the building so parking for employees is easy to navigate. Visitor parking is $10 for the entire day and is also easy to navigate
Close to home, safe parking, clear office directions, Mr Micheal at check in booth has excellent, PR Skills Resident, very attentive and detailed, I was very impressed, of course a 10+to Dr. Reyser, an excellent example of perfect"DOCTORING" Ms Jackson in Xay A 10+, very kind Elderly Care skills, Love the Geriatric Clinic
Attentive & detailed doctors. Modern facility. Knowledgeable doctors. Everyone seems nice. Excellent care. I've made so much progress toward better health. A clean facility. The staff here are only human, like their patients.
They need to get it together. All three desk ladies are sitting on the desk here in the cardiac unit saying "the system is down" they will not answer any questions and do not care they are dealing with people's health. I would not trust these people to make a burger much less with a loved ones health. This place should be SHUT DOWN AND RESTAFFED. My dad is in heart failure and NEEDED this Dr appointment. They don't care. At all. Couldn't even give us a new appointment. Basically just go home and hope my dad lives for them to get the "system" fixed. I will be making a formal complaint.
