Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital – Burleson

I don't usually leave reviews but I took my daughters here a few days ago Because they were sick and I just can't get over how rude this stuff was. I mean everyone from the front desk lady to the nurses. I mean everything from rolling their eyes at me to scoffing while i'm answering questions. It was honestly just Unbelievable, I almost got up and walked out. I will say there was one blonde lady I Believe she was a doctor she was the only one that showed any kind of professionalism and kindness.

I was curious if I was the only one that had been treated this way so I went through the reviews And as it turns out I am far from the only one that experienced this.

Okay so the location itself was fast and the dr was incredibly kind and awesome.

My rating is because the billing office has been nothing but a major major headache.

They don’t call back. They constantly argue. They send off certain things to other companies right off the bat.

And when you want to pay cash rather than use insurance they act like you’ve personally offended their sensibilities.

Avoid Baylor Scott and white at all costs if you can. The medical staff are phenomenal but you will be exhausted and sick again when you’re done dealing with the billing department.

Mila C. Nurse was very rude and horrible service. Went to the ER and waited for 2 hours and only gave my wife an ice pack. I will not go back to this hospital and I will report Mila C.

I had a positive experience. No wait. Dr was great. Nursing staff was great. Student or trainee was excellent on her 2nd day.

I got an iv and stitches and didn't feel either.like a 1 on a scale from 1 to 10 on pain.

I am going to break it down to 2 parts.
Everytime I go to this ER, they get you in, really try to figure out what's going on, and treat you. You are not waiting hrs just to get in to a room. The ER staff are very nice, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive to their patients. The doctors are very hands on in the ER as well. I don't feel like they are rushing with explaining what is going on with your condition. This is the only ER that I will go to in Tarrant county.

Inpatient: I was here for Inpatient treatment for a few days. I am so thankful for the nurses that treated me. EVERY SINGLE NURSE over the span of my treatment was amazing. I never felt rushed when asking questions, everyone was completely thorough with explaining things in ways that I could understand, and everyone was so nice and professional. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and care. I was feeling sad about my heath and just kept it to myself. Nurse Noah saw through that and took time to comfort me and talk to me. That really truly touched my heart and I really appreciate him for that. That's how you know these nurses care. All of them made my stay 1000% more comfortable and at ease. The doctor's were good as well. Took time to answer all my questions very thoroughly too. Thank you house keepers also for doing a amazing job. Thank you to all the ER and inpatient staff that provided care.

Very dissatisfied.give ZERO Star rating.multiple issues/ Y'all aren't there to help save lives because if you were your Dr would've helped me instead of shuffling me out the door with a pain pill.didn't solve nothing by visiting this place. I go to the hospital to be treated with dignity and respect in hope of getting the best health care treatment but instead being treated like a pill chaser is very serious for me and others.

Do not recommend. Took my daughter in for a medication allergic reaction, waited over an hour and decided to leave. Everyone that works here looks lazy. Will never come back to this place.

Went in and waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen. Diagnosed and treated with the best care. Would definitely go back if need be.

Worst experience ever! They even charged for services I didn’t get done and expect me to pay!

Nurses were rude I was asked what kind of pain medicine did I give my daughter for her fever I told her Motrin the liquid and told her how much she said you gave her the liquid instead of pills, my daughter is 11 and that's all I had. They put us in a room that had dry blood on the floor it was just nasty Not to mention the nurse kept coughing not covering her mouth and she didn't sanitize or wash her hands

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The bow tie wearing doctor is rude and seems to not care at all about a person's Well being I. Needed help and its sad that I went to a place that's supposed to help and didn't.

I went here in terrible pain. My vitals were checked after maybe 30 mins. There were only about 6 people in the waiting room including myself. There were used tissues scattered all over the floor. I was finally taken back to a room after about 2.5 hrs. It about was another hour before the doctor came in. I told her my symptoms and history and she ignored a lot of what I said. I had a few minor tests done but nothing that would rule out any other issues. A random nurse appeared to give me medicine - No one EVER discussed test results or advised that I would be getting medicine. She gave pain meds that didn’t work at all. I was left in a cold exam room, no blanket, no remote, no instructions on how to reach a nurse, or anything. The doctor finally came back after another hour or so to discharge me and prescribed the same medicine that I told her did nothing for me while there plus a second medicine which also did not do anything. BUT…. They collected my copay swiftly.

I was recommended this ER, I should have done some research before just going. The doctor kept asking the patient who is a child question and did not address my concerns. He wouldn’t listen to me he even rolled his eyes when I tried speaking up. At one point he even snapped his fingers I’m not clear as to who he was doing that for. Either way that’s no means to get someone else attention very unprofessional in my opinion. The doctor also asked the child patient what type of medication he would prefer. My son is 11 years old and was scared, confused and in pain. There was missed information due to the doctor not discussing anything with me as the parent. When the nurse was speaking with me the doctor decided to say something to me while his back was turned to me. I felt very uncomfortable with him for various reasons, he was rude to staff and definitely not courteous with us. I wouldn’t ever return just for the simple fact that I may have to encountering this doctor again.

Took my daughter just to wait for an hour waiting to be seen when another person came in and got called to the back after waiting a whopping 5 mins. Not sure if race has anything to do with this but I am hoping that is not the case and that guy just happens to be caucasian. Was told the reason was because that’s how the doctor wanted it to be, whatever that means. Ended up leaving right after to a different place.
