All I’m going to say is please don’t come here if you have an emergency, the er department is horrible. If you can make the drive to other hospital please do so, Carrie and a male nurses (didn’t get his name) were so unprofessional and weren’t listening to what I was saying, and want us to relive on this whole package they give us when they release us. It’s really disappointed how supposedly nurses are supposed to be “ nurturing ” and “ caring “.

All I can say is, never be seen by Carrie D. Culp Adams ACNP at this hospital! She has a really bad attitude to certain patients! She thinks she's a doctor and not a good one at that. Had I known, I would have followed my mind and went to College Station for sure! One of the worst nurse practitioners I have come across. I could say so much more but I will let God handle her.

The experience with this er is quite an experience.not the best I might add. The nurse led us in a room. Asked what was going on. I explained the issues.she left and another lady entered with the typical microaggressions of certain hospital staff. I had to ask her name and what was she because I couldn't physically see her name tag. Was it in her scrubs or what? Her name was Carrie and she was a nurse practitioner. I had a few words with her and she never came back in the room to read results of the tests or anything. The Male nurse did. This lady is the most unprofessional, narcissistic person I have ever met. The bias and microaggressions in the medical field is ridiculous and I really understand why certain people don't like going to places with certain people. 0 stars if I could. I forgot to add.she never saw a doctor that night.smh. The nurse practitioner on call, Carrie is one of the worst in the medical field that I have dealt with in Brenham.

I was seen for chest discomfort/ dehydration and they took me in pretty quickly the staff was great even though they were very busy I had nurse Bernadette/ Berni.and she was very patient and comforting.but hands down to the ER Doctor Dr. Mark Rogers! I haven't had a doctor with good bedside manner and very knowledgeable and patient in a long time and made me feel so comforting in a bad situation he took the time to listen.and didnt make me feel like i was just another patient with a problem he went beyond and did several test to make sure I was ok Even though in the process he discovered other issues but im glad they were found sooner than later. I'm absolutely grateful to have seen this doctor last night. I wish there were more doctors like him.alot of other doctors need to learn a thing or 2 from this doctor.and let's not forget to mention he is also funny. THANK YOU DR. ROGERS!

Everytime I go to the ER the nurses are rude and the doctors too. Ridiculous. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The emergency room staff were incredible, from the time that we arrived, until the time that we left, just 4 hours later.
I briefly explained that it was vitally important to capture my daughters heart rhythm on the EKG machine and the nurse immediately understood where I was coming from and moved quickly to get it started.
We were then met by the most amazing doctor, I believe that we’ve ever met, Dr. Steven Parkes!
It’s such a shame that he’s only an emergency room doctor and travels from various locations, and Brenham only gets him just several times a month because we would definitely want him to become our family doctor. He interacts with you as if you’re family and you can see it through his eyes that he truly cares about his patients.
He brought up some amazing theories and alternatives that we weren’t getting from the “big city” doctors AND “specialist”.
He went out of his way, and found a couple of issues that were previously missed by the specialist and gave us hope and answers.
He truly went above and beyond for our daughter, and for that we are eternally grateful!
Thanks Dr. Parkes!

I was a patient Dec 16-20 with Covid viral pneumonia. I am very grateful for the physical care I received, and in addition thank Nurse Chelsey for the spiritual support. She got me through my struggle.

Took my 6 month old to the ER due to respiratory distress. We waited for over 1.5 hours, had people (minimum of 2 patients) enter after us and get seen before us. No one was able to tell us how much longer we needed to wait. We went to a different hospital & our 6 month old’s O2 was 77 with 104 fever. Saddened to think what would’ve happened had we not left and gone somewhere else.
