Baymont by Wyndham Snyder

Staying here for 3 nights, this review being left the night before I leave.

This place isn't perfect but I still feel like it deserves 4 stars.
First you have to realize this on the outside of Snyder so there's nothing around except for the truck stop that has a burger king and you can get dominos delivery. The plus side is that its very quiet here, I am of course on the side of the building facing away from the store but Its still very quiet, might only hear an exceptionally noisy vehicle going down the highway.

The staff was very nice and resolved the one and only issue I had while staying. Which was needing my fridge replaced. I am not sure how such a thing was missed unless it was done by the last people who stayed in my room but the door didn't shut right which caused the inside to condensate and the entire back wall formed an ice block and since the door didn't shut completely it dripped. I told them I didn't really care as I wasn't going to be using it but they gave me some towels for the floor and despite maintenance not working the weekends they later brought me up a replacement.

AC worked great, the wifi is great, decent selection of tv channels, got a real office chair and not a hard uncomfortable thing, the bed was comfortable (for me anyways, as everyone is different) Ice machine on the 2nd floor was gone cause it was broke but no big, the one on the first floor worked just fine. I feel like it was pretty appropriately priced, I paid over double what this room cost to stay in Amarillo a few weeks ago for a room that was not double the value.

Its also VERY convenient if your a truck driver, which is why I stayed here instead of considering the other hotel nearby. Only about 5 foot of grass separates the parking lots so you can park your rig and your closer to the hotel than you likely are from the store.

Service was great. Thank you for the breakfast bag.rooms were great.however I notice the bight lamp did not work.we will be back

Poor customer service! I called asking to book a room hung up on twice by same lady then placed on hold for 10 minutes then she hung up on me again!

Staff was kind. The property needs some upgrades. The bath tub had quite a bit of rust and shower wall peeling.
The coke machines downstairs were out of order. Kids enjoyed hot tub. It was ok but probably not stay there again.

Front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful! Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable!

Had rooms reserved I was going to pay with company credit card had to deal with rude manager and in my opinion rediculous requirements of needing everyone's information I was giving my ID and my company credit card room was being paid for by me I've stayed in many Baymont Inns this one dissatisfied me. Disappointed me always had good experiences untill now.

Very nice staff, has an indoor spa and gym which is awesome. Even gave me a ride because of limited uber service

The night clerk made my reservation for the wrong night and I got charged for a no show as well
the night that I did stay. I contacted them to explain Iwas given the run around by their Corp they ignored me and they basically told me tough ca ca

I had been staying there for over 50 days, and still have another 6 months on my project.
It seem after working a full day I had to go down stairs and reactive my room keys almost every other day. The Lady working (On 7/8/2020 @ 4: 00pm) at the front desk is always rude and not welcoming at all, When I asked her why my card is always deactivated? She said "maybe you should stop here before going to your room everyday" with her rude attitude. I went and rented a room next door and that hotel was fuller after walking in I now know why! Its Comfort Inn.
If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Snyder Texas, I highly recommend The Comfort Inn.
You know where to stay by just looking at both hotel parking lots, which are right next to each other one will be full and the other one will only have a few cars. I would highly recommend customer service training for the rude lady working at the Baymont by Wyndham Snyder.

Pet hair everywhere. Shower didn't work. No stopper for the tub. Carpet smelled. Everytime you wanted the front desk clerk you had to call out. Close to Denny's to eat only reason I have 2 stars.

Customer service was great! The rooms could use an update, bathroom in room was tiny and im not a large person.

Husband paid for room from his account and my account which is separate from his was charged also. My account was already negative. We had to beg for an ice bucket and the only ice machine is on the first floor.

Front desk staff not friendly stayed multiple nights called and asked for new towels since house keeping never came and they said sorry I won’t bring them up stairs. No soap in the rooms not even a bar to wash your hands with. Not the cleanest the room was probably 90 degrees when we first checked in. Worth spending the extra $10 next door. Would not stay here again
