Bayou Music Center reviews
16Guys, please fix the air conditioner that serves the balcony section of the venue. We had to leave a concert early due to how warm it was. Everything else about this venue is top notch but you gotta get that AC working correctly.
Smaller venue! Great atmosphere! No need to get seats unless you just don't want to stand.
I’ve been going here since it was Revention Center. The energy to sound system is incredible!
Love this venue, small but perfect! Franz Ferdinand really impressed me and the Pixies were awesome too. So good live!
Love bayou music center. It is a very intimate venue. It gets alittle warm inside so definitely dress to stay cool
Seats are small I recommend you sit on upper deck area you at least have a divider so your butts not rubbing on the people on either side of you. The pink Floyd shoe was great though first time seeing that. I'd go here again. And sit up top.
It's great, the staff is very organized. Admission is very accessible and the rest depends on which group you go to see, we went to see Franz Ferdinand Great Family Concert.
My goodness get some better ventilation.it gets so hot in the pit.the rest of the venue is great.plenty of bars, couple bathrooms— a little cluttered for the merch area.but there’s a reason multiple people pass out from heat every show.
Enjoy coming here for sure they always have their security and bar situation together. Wish the air flow situation was better but I understand with a lot of people that’s hard. Area around it san be kind of sketchy
The only drawback is that I had to call 911 because there were too many people in a very hot venue. One person passed out, and I saw others sitting on the floor trying to cool down. I personally felt very hot and started to feel faint. I don't think the ac was on or possibly not working to its full capacity.
The sound at this venue is always great. However, they really fail with air conditioning in the summer. I understand it's Houston in June, but it was sweltering inside that building during the Dirty Heads show. Barely 5 degrees cooler than it was outside!
Been here for two different concerts. The bartender was awesome. Drinks are not cheap, but they were good!
Love this venue! Small enough so that there is no bad seats, but big enough that the live shows are impressive. Saw Brit Floyd and this is the perfect venue for them. Hot as heck in Houston so we appreciated the air conditioning.
Great venue. Used to by Verizon theater next to hard rock Cafe, but sound quality is good!
Cool venue. I went to a show last night and had a good time especially because of the bartenders making sure I was taken care of shoutout to Miriam she was awesome, really dope energy throughout the night. Definitely coming back
The most amazing band could be playing but the venue ruins it with not running the AC. Both shows recently people were passing out all over because of it being so hot. Someone is going to die there because of the conditions.
