My bad experience is not only about the branch but the entire institution itself. This bank will allow you to overdraft on purpose so that they can charge you numerous fees and if you have direct deposit they will take half of your paycheck to pay those fees. Their phone service is useless, they make you go to the branch for something as simple as transferring money from one account to another or using their mobile app. This process goes in circles you visit the branch and they tell you to use the app. I lost my card and had to visit the branch, I was told I could not take my own money out of my own savings account, something you can do at other banks, because my checking account was negative. I explained to the rep that my card was lost but even when I had my card I was not allowed to withdraw my own money. In other words they will hold your money hostage until you pay them for something the bank allows you to do. I could not keep track of my spending due to issues with the app before and now I have to pay fees because they allowed me to use the card beyond it’s available balance. I would not recommend this bank to anyone honestly, they are thieves and everyone that in came contact with at this bank was useless. Oh and forgot to mention if you want to withdraw money from your savings that’s a $30 fee.

Eddie Hernandez is a banker at this location. He's the reason I closed my account. Very rude very unprofessional. Refects poorly on the bank for hiring someone like him

This branch is the least helpful bank branch i have been to in my life. The notary (Eddie) doesn't understand his job is to witness a signature, when I told him that it was for a membership to my water company and if not done my water could be shut off he said that wasn't his problem the Supervisor (white haired Hispanic lady) was no help and just kept telling me have a nice day dismissing me while I was talking saying that the water company had nothing to do with BBVA even though BBVA offers free notary to it's members. I was there for 15 minutes and was the third person to leave with a bad experience. BBVA has a personell problem.

I asked for a personal loan, and they gave me an answer within 30 minutes and I was approved for 35000

Probably the rudest people I've ever talked to. Its allowed cause the supervisor of this place is just as bad with attitude so the employees get free rides for being rude. Closing this account and never banking with these people again

My banking experiences here have been excellent. Bank reps are friendly, courteous and helpful. I especially recommend this branch to all.

It's a bank that goes to the extreme to apply whatever fees to customers. A check cashed and a deposit made that day will cause a fee.
Example you got 10 on the bank on 10/15, you deposit 50 cash on 10/15 before 1pm a check or debit.is A check or debit is presented on 10/15 for 20. So your balance with the deposit on 10/15 is 60.
Nevertheless, they process the check with as with a balance of 10, charge an overdraft fee and then process the deposit.
You can't even pay a bbva credit card via online payment with another bank. So for their bbca credit cards only bbva account can be used for online banking for payment.
They hide fees on tjeir loans. Terrible service and arrogance.

PLEASE EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS BANK THE WORST BANK I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN THE TIME I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH BANKS SPOKE TO THE SO CALL MANAGER ALEJANDRA MEDINA EVEN WORST. HONESTLY 50 PERCENT OF MY JOB IS CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU CAN'T HELP A CUSTOMER. SAYING YOU DON'T KNOW BUT YOU WILL FIND OUT GOES A LONG LONG WAY. I WILL WRITE THIS REVIEW, ALREADY CALLED THE 1800 TO COMPLAIN, THEN SEND A LETTER TO CORPORATE. I WILL GET EVERYTHING DONE THAT'S HOW UPSET THEY HAVE MADE ME.

I lost my card so I reported and went to the bank because I needed a new one so they told me 7-10 days and it’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t received nothing so I decided to call customer service and they told me no card was requested So I order thru the customer service again and they told me 7-10 so I been with out a card for more than 3 weeks and honestly this is the worst experience I ever had never coming back to this brach

At the end of the day it seems like there's no more life in the staff. Only 2 people manning the inside teller desk but I see all sorts of bank employees going in and out of their office. I guess their too good to work the counter. Very disappointed with the wait time and the lack of urgency.

BBVA has to be the only bank that allows their associates to not provide the best customer service.

Alejandra from Callaghan store, she’s rude and while visiting it came to my attention she is the type of person to stereo type individuals. Told me that next time to make a payment I️ need my loan number. No woman you have the ability to look it up with my social.

The only reason I bank here is because of health problems I had to deal with that left my credit in the gutter. Otherwise, I would change banks. Terrible customer service. Long waits. They can look at you, but not acknowledge you. Mostly only friendly when you open an account. My branch is also the Callaghan location. Terrible.

The tellers are great. But the service in the lobby is poor. We have waited 30 minutes before being acknowledged. When we brought it up to the supervisorand. She thinks dismissed it. I was shocked at the lack of candor. The m anager was very dismissive and could not properly explain things. It was sad.

I give this branch a 3 mainly because it's more business than friendly service and I understand but the other branches I have been to do both.
