BCD Tofu House reviews
14 This place is top notch in the way of quality, taste and service. I've been several times now and the consistency and flavor is always on point.
If you really like spicy (and I mean really like spicy) venture to get the 'dangerous' spice level soon. It will clear out any congestion you may have at the moment. The banchan is super fresh and the fried croaker is a nice addition.
Everything was great! Food and service was 5/5. Note: Parking is a bit challenging because this shopping area is popular, stay calm drive around you might have to walk a bit, but I think it’s worth it.
This place was really good! The service was perfect, not too intrusive, and the environment is very family friendly. Everything we had was delicious and was overall better than we expected. I highly recommend, especially if you’re new to Asian dining restaurants.
My husband and I visited the first time last week and we really enjoyed ourselves. We walked in, there was no wait and was seated right away. They give you a lot of food with your order. I ordered the galbi and picked out a seafood tofu soup to go with it. The food comes with side dishes. My husband had the bulgogi bibimbap and a beef tofu soup. Would definitely go again and bring friends.
I went with a friend because she really loves the place, and came back loving it too. We got the Kimchi Soondubu Jjiggae and Galbi ribs among the two of us. The Tofu stew along with all its side dishes (banchan) and rice and meat, filled us both up well! I'd highly recommend this place for some good Korean traditional food and experience!
I had the seasonal mushroom stone rice bowl and my wife had the bibimbap stone rice bowl. Everything was great! The amount of food that comes (banchan and the tofu stew) was more than we could eat and well worth the price. The kimchi and kimchi stews we got were some of the best we had. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
First time here after talking about it many times. We were not disappointed! Double date and we all got their specialty, the tofu soup. I had mine with dumplings at the second-highest on the spicy levels. Waitress seemed skeptical that I really wanted spicy so I can't be certain I really got that level but the heat was pretty decent. I only avoided the "Danger" spicy level because I have to teach adult Sunday school tomorrow and.well, nevermind. Anyway, "Spicy" level is solid. Great flavor, good heat.
The sides are fantastic, and of course there's the fried fish that comes with every meal. I just dove right in and ate the whole thing up to the head. Basically like a big fried sardine. Their kimchi is really really good too.
We also ordered the seafood pancake and it was delicious! Highly recommended. Crunchy and chewy and savory and great all around. Honestly tastes great dipped in the soup!
Prices are very reasonable.
We will be back.
This place is one of my favorite new restaurants. As soon as you enter the hostess greets you with beautiful positive energy. They have tons of seating, very clean environment and it’s a loud bustling atmosphere. The food quality was excellent except for the egg to add to the tofu bowl it was not organic or pasteurize raised (I’m picky with raw eggs). I used only the egg white from it. Overall it was very well priced and addicting to the tastebuds. Everything was perfect other than 1 item.
I love soup and this place definitely satisfied my craving of soft tofu soup. I ordered it with seafood and spicy (they don’t play with the kick!) My sister ordered the most spicy level and it was super spicy but the flavor was still very good.
Highly recommend the galbi set!
For $15 at this current moment, you can have a nice hot bowl of tofu soup, rice, and sides. Definitely fills everyone up so it's still a good price point. It has increased a couple dollars over the past few years, but still worth coming.
One of the only tofu house in the area where they give each order a fried fish which is great. Some days, the sides can be a hit or miss. I especially like the squid and fish cakes, so it feels extra rewarding when they offer those.
A couple times, the spice level was a miss, and the soup ended up tasting bland. But this latest visit, everything seemed to be fine again and the spicy level really came through.
I was able to sit right away without waiting.
Order and food came out quickly.
Overall, my appetite was slightly salty, but it was so delicious.
Employees were very friendly and we were able to do a perfect dinner.
The trio ajuma waitresses were rude, one of them yelled at us when we tried to togo our small plates, you could have politely told us instead
Got the seafood tofu and beef tofu soup. This was awesome! The spice level was insane but made it all the more delicious… wish i got a side dish too but the beef in the soup was so good i was very full after
The service was fast. The portion sizes were more significant than usual. The beef bulgogi was so good.
