Went to the meeting and the speaker seemed to cater to one demographic when interacting. I’ve paid and uploaded pertinent documents with no follow up. Not seeing the point in participating in the program when it’s gate is kept by a trainer that doesn’t appear to be tentative to all attendees.

I finished my homebuyers course online in February but was unable to get an appointment for the one on one counseling until late April. I was told by Eva Reyna that I was homebuyer ready and would receive my certificate to start searching for a home to buy within a couple of days. It will be a month tomorrow since I finished my one on one counseling and I have still not received my certificate. I was referred to this service through BOA Community Affordable Loans. At this point I would advise others to not use this service. It’s giving me scammer vibes! But at the very least if certificate not received soon I will file dispute with my bank to get the money I paid for the course. But unfortunately I can’t get my time back!

I’m upset because I was so close to getting my homebuyers certificate. I finished the first class in 2days after the counseling I was told I need to adjust my income and I need to get on a payment plan with two of the debts on my credit. I DID BOTH OF THOSE THINGS! That was APRIL 11th! I paid and got on a payment plan APRIL 12th. Emailed Ms. Garcia and Reyna.after being told I would get a reply in 2days. It’s now MAY 3rd! Still no response I have left messages and have call multiple times! BOA and this whole community home buyers program is a joke! They lead poor people to believe they have a chance to buy a home, make them dedicate themselves to this program just to get the assistance just for the people to ghost them. I have not heard from my loan officer at BOA either! This whole program is a scam!

I had worked with the Austin office years ago and had a great experience. Things were going well with the Dallas office and then suddenly they left me a vague message on their site and refuse to respond to me. I would caution any small business owner who wants to do business with this office. Make sure you do your research about them before so you don't waste your time and energy. There are other great organizations who will help small business owners.
