Bedford Oaks Apartments

I don't know.maybe things have been better since I see that there is a new property manager. Lisa was terrible. I am in property management myself. The fact that they would never answer phone calls, emails, always had the office locked was crazy to me. My AC never worked, it was always above 85 degrees. I had to call the city at one point. I never received my move out statement, I had to call a 20+ times and email constantly, Lisa said she tried to email it to me.whatever. I just paid the money owed so I didn't end up going to collections. I don't even know what my charges were. I had constant issues. The area doesn't feel safe, there's always some new incident occurring which I understand the property cant do much about that. The grounds look terrible, pool was dirty, gym wasn't even 24 hours. The only good part about living there was miss Barbie who works at a sister property. She was the only person who ever contacted me or updated me on anything and she didn't even work there.

We so excited to be moved in and a special thanks to Nicole and America who made our move easy and fast. Nicole is very nice and professional she does a great job!

The apartment is great other than constant issues with the A/C. Since June the temperature inside gets up to 85 and doesn't cool down below 80 until around midnight. The insulation is not great, even with the A/C blowing cold it doesn't cool the apartment like it should. Other than that it's a nice place to stay.

Update 8/21/23
Haven’t received any emails from them like they said, but I have received a $400 electric bill. The temperature is now over 90 degrees in my apartment. This is ridiculous. Maintenance doesn’t answer calls either

This review is just to help people that are thinking about moving here!
RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY
1. I want you to know that free parking is only for one vehicle, if you have another vehicle you have to pay $20. Which is totally fine if it is disclosed to you when you aply for the apartment but no it send to you in an email where it mentions that only one parking for leaseholder allowed. No where in the lease it mentions that!
2. First time I took a shower the water in bathtub wasn't draining. No big deal I can see if I can clean it up. And oh boy half a pound of hair came out of the drainage hole. (should have taken a picture of that)
3. The main door is kinda crooked and it hits the frame. It makes it hard to open and close. Also will show the great engineering idea and the grinding skills that somebody had with a picture of the main door. You guys decide yourself what to make of it

I’ve lived here for more than a year now, and this is my honest opinion. I have read some of these negative reviews, and I don’t feel like people understand what it means to run a business and or complex. There are an estimated 300+ tenants here, with maybe five or so maintenance people working here. Cut them some slack and they will get to you. They are working the best they can. Nothing in life is perfect. The office management is doing the best they can to please your needs but have to follow their own rules. In the time I’ve been here, I have nothing but admiration from this group trying their best to make this complex wonderful for all of us to live in. Thank you, Bedford Oaks Management

Great place to be, close to one of the main highways, gets you to Dallas or Fort Worth. The office personal is awesome, Amerika and Nichole are great people, if you have maintenance issues with the apartment they get it fixed ASAP!

Nicole deserves all 5 stars! I love my apartment yes, but Nicole was definitely the seller. So sweet and understanding she really tries to make you happy. Thank you so much Nicole!

This has been a great place to live at. The management and maintenance are very friendly and do everything they can help resolve any issues we have had.i highly recommend living here.

One of the nicest apartments to live in Bedford. Everyone in the management works really well. Especially Nichole. We appreciate her help. She always make sure every maintenance is done with stipulated time period.

One of the best apartment spaces in Bedford! Any issue I had was resolved within due time. The Staff and management is just amazing. Nicole is the most understanding and cooperative manager! She is the most amazing person - and has been a key source ensuring we have a smooth and comfortable residence.

Nicole has been a lifesaver! She is so patient and kind and very empathetic to my needs. There is a new manager and I can tell she is already making positive changes. The complex is very quiet and most importantly I feel safe here.

Bedford Oaks apartments have really nice and clean apartments. They resolve all the issues within time frames. Also, Nicole is the best.

I was thinking of not renewing.but Nicole has great service and people skills. She keeps things flowing great and has made my living experience at Bedford Oaks enjoyable! She’s a true gem to this property and company! She’s personable, respectful of your time and needs! Thank you Nicole keep being amazing!

Our family have been residents at Bedford Oaks apartments for one year now. It has been a very good experience for us. All issues and concerns were dealt with in a timely manner. The office staff is very attentive to our concerns. Especially Nicole Fajardo, you should be very proud of having an amazing employee like Nicole. We recommend Bedford Oaks apartments for anyone looking for a nice quiet place to live.

Services have been good. Office staff Nicole and Amerika have helped and has responded when we need. When we need them they are here. Maintenance is really good and the area is great. Awesome with a big smile.

The best part about living here is how helpful Nichole is in the front office. She is quick to respond and has helped me whenever I need it. She is professional and is on top of things which has overall brought me a better experience!

Honestly, i have been living here for about 2 years and the only time you can get ahold of anyone is if you call 10 times in a row.it may be cheap but it is an awfully run business.don’t believe the stars.i haven’t had hot water for the last 2 days, but no one will come out and fix it and no one will answer the phone

update 9 months later: Still ZERO communication, they never answer the phone now you can’t even leave a message you just get hung up on… please fix yourselves.

This is a great place to live. I am going on 3 years here. It is quite, people are friendly. The office staff are great. The maintenance is awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone. Yes it is older Apt’s but has lots of storage. Lots of trees. You feel like you’re in the country. My 2 pets love it here, & so do I. Joyce

I've been with Bedford Oaks for maybe 6 years now and I've been through 3-4 sets of management. I appreciate Nicole she's a big help when needed. The operation and flow that these apartments should be ran by is terrible. Clearly something is wrong when all maintenance quit and looks like trash company's and pest control quit too. Upon my renewal I was supposed to have carpet cleaning and maintenance was supposed to come and fix water leaks that has to be fixed every month seems like it and broken tile that maintenance did when repairing my shower. Everything is falling apartment in my apartment and there's nobody to fix it. Nothing can be fixed, but if the rent is not paid on the 3rd you have an eviction notice on you door the next day with a warning of having to be out in 2 days which is not legally right and trust I've done research. I'm completely over it and just waiting for the end of my lease and praying this time I can be able to move.
